I have $227 left in credits from Jet Blue. If I purchase 4 tickets at a total of $800 and use the credit towards it and the price should go down on the tickets, will JB give us a credit or will it be denied because part of the airfare was paid by credit.

I've used credits to purchase flights and my flights have gone down and was given new credits. JB sees your credits as a form of "payment" and will not penalize you for using them. However, since the new website upgrade I'm still wondering if they will continue to offer credits like they did in the past. I'm waiting for someone to post if they get a credit. I'm currently holding JB tickets for 6 different flights, so am juggling alot of fares to watch.

They don't care that it was a credit. I've had credits upon credits for some flights. If the fare goes down you can get another credit for the amount.

I can give you one experience that we had. We had a delayed flight last summer and had $50 vouchers from it for our whole party. I used one voucher to buy an expensive ticket over Christmas. When the price dropped and I was due a credit, the first thing they did was give me back that voucher, with the original date of expiration. I was a bit miffed by that.

That's completely different. You did not pay cash for the ticket. The credit system is based on the fact that at some point, the amount of credit in your account was cash out of your pocket.
