Jet Blue booking

Does anyone know Jet Blue's rule of thumb for dates it books out? Whenever I check it's at 10/31-any idea when December dates will be up?

I had looked up some old posts from last year and it looks like the November timeframe became available on May 12-ish (and strangely, one day earlier on Kayak.com). I've been checking both websites a few times a day as well as the disboards to see if anything has changed...not sure if December comes out at the same time as November but from what JetBlue has told me, the booking agents you get on the phone do not know ahead of time when the price updates will become available, and it's very possible that they'll vary from month to month.

I 'believe' I booked my early Dec trip with JB last year right around this time...mid-May. Here's hoping that window opens up soon. I have my return flight booked with Delta using FF miles. Now I just have to get there!!!

Yes, last year they flight schedule did come up earlier on Kayak. When I called to book, the agent said they were only selling til Oct. I told HER that the flights were available, and then she was able to find them and book them! I've been checking both sites everyday, too. Last week I called Jetblue and the agent had been expecting them any day. (I don't even have a trip planned...but I do have a Jetblue credit burning a hole in my cyber pocket!).

It seems typical to be able to get to the JB fares though the kayak link sooner than you can get them by going directly to JB (sidestep is another one that they show up on). I've been checking kayak daily looking for our Dec fares to FLL, hoping they're going to show up any day now.

I booked our June airfare late last year through the kayak link and I haven't seen a better rate for our flight on JB since.

I am flying down on Oct 31 and returning Nov 12. I have already booked my flight down during a sale, so am just waiting for the return schedule to open up!

Some others have posted that JetBlue is now booking for Nov./Dec., but I am having problems trying to book for Nov. Nothing is coming up on Kayak or Sidestep for Nov. and for Jetblue.com I was only able to find availability for the flight down on Nov.3 and for the return flight on Nov.11, I get error that Jetblue is only booking through Oct. 31.

I'm able to find fares on Kayak.com (make sure that your search includes JetBlue)...once you click on a jetblue fare, it takes you to jetblue's site and voila! The fares are right there on the jetblue site. However, if you go directly to the jetblue site you cannot get past the Oct 31 date.

I also had the same thing happen on Sidestep.com...I'm able to see the pricing (really bad pricing, unfortunately), but I can't locate it directly thru the jetblue site.

I'm on the phone right now with jetblue and the rep is telling me that this is impossible, as she has not yet received updated pricing past Oct 31 so she doubts that I could be seeing any fares after Oct 31. I told her about Kayak and Sidestep and she's checking with her supervisor...will let you all know if I find anything out...

Okay, the rep checked with her supervisor and evidently they're also seeing "random fares for random dates" being loaded into their system, but only if they do a search at this point (for instance, when I told her my exact dates that I'd pulled up on Kayak and Sidestep, she was also able to pull them up). However, she said it could take a week to get all the fares in, and she suggested waiting until they're all in on the jetblue site before booking thru anywhere so that you have all the options and specials available as well.

So don't despair...just keep checking!

PS...If you see a fare you like (which seems doubtful at this point in time), you should be able to call jetblue and ask them to search your specific dates/flights and they should be able to book it.
