Jet Blue and Google Flights

Has anyone had any luck in booking into October of this year with Jet Blue through Google Flights?
I have been trying since yesterday when the new dates came out and I keep getting bumped into the main page of Jet Blue, not the discounted airfares I see offered on Google Flights.

Could it be that google flights shows you what's available but you have to actually book through Jet Blue? I believe Jet Blue does not show up on other sites like Orbitz or Hipmunk. Same goes for Southwest.

Google flights and ITA Matrix use the same engine. They just show what is out there through the airline's own site. There isn't a discount for going through Google flights. If you price it out for one person on JetBlue, you should see the same fare. More than one person might bump you up to a higher price level.

There really are no airline discounts. It borders on bait and switch. Every single time I thought I was getting s great fare, I would be told, when I got to the payment section, that the fare I wanted was no longer available. I was then directed to a higher fare....one that was the same as the airlines official site.
I now book directly through the airline.

I booked thru Google Flights for this coming April when JB's flights came out last July. On the JB site it was insane...$700 RT and I told DH we were going to drive because we are a family of 5. Then someone said Google flights and voila...$236 RT...ahhh.... Add that to the 10 day car rental of $289 and we are paying $1469, we aren't going to Disney but the beaches of SW FL.

Anyways, when I booked thru Google, it showed me all the options of every airline and I chose JB and it took me to the JB page and it still had that $236 price (now they are more then that just one way, insane but it is April and it is the North East).

Thank you for all the replies. I also booked through Google Flight (directed to Jet Blue) for April flights this past July, but the option didn't work for booking this fall. The fares shown on Google flights for October are half of what Jet Blue was showing on Sunday
