I was wondering if anyone was familiar with when Jet Blue and Allegiant may release their December dates? I have been disappointed in airfare prices with the airlines that have been released and am hoping for some better deals around Christmas time with one of these two airlines. At these prices we will have to drive and that is not my preference. Any experiences?

Jetblue for December I have booked in June (Even end of May)...Keep on it though. Book the first day available and as soon as it opens. The prices jump very quick.

Allegiant, I have never flown but I think they are about 4 months out....

Good Luck.

I got Dec 21 booked out of Moncton for $292 !!!! Really thought that was great from Atlantic Canada. Just booked March break 2011 out of Bangor for $149 down and $154 back!!!!!

Most airlines like allegiant, jetblue, etc will post flights 6 months out. So for December you're looking at June before they post flights.

I don't know where you live, but look into AirTran. (go directly to their website for the best rates) They have consistently been the cheapest for us. If you are willing to drive to a larger airport, usually your flights are much cheaper. We live near the Binghamton, NY airport but are flying out of Allentown, PA (2+ hrs away) because the flights were over $200 cheaper (each tkt). It's worth the drive.

Airtran's and Allegiant's flights tend to go up in price the closer you get to the date so if you can book 5-6 months before it's best. Also, fly on a Tues or Wednesday and it will be cheaper.

The other tip is to check the prices of your flight on a Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Most of the airlines will post cheaper flights then and then raise them again on the weekend when people have time to book vacations.

Hope these ideas help!

I just did a live chat with Allegiant earlier this week to ask when flights for November would be released (because I'm getting antsy). The rep said that the next set of flights/dates would be released within the next 4-6 weeks and would most likely be dates through February.

I hope it doesn't take them 6 weeks to get them up! :scared1: I'll be a basketcase by then!!! :scared:

I'm still waiting for flights for Oct. for allegiant. I also did the live chat and once was told mid april and once was told May. Our trip goes from 9/30 to 10/7 ...I can't book a departing flight until I find out what the return times will be...uggh :confused3

Check on May 1st, I'd bet their available then.

It was May 8th or 9th last year for Jet Blue- we booked on the day they opened and our flight was for Dec 18th. :)

If I remember correctly, it was right about then that I booked my late Nov/early Dec flights.
