Jet Blue-45 mins to change planes at JFK

I'm looking at taking a Jet Blue flight from SYR to MCO in October. The flight leaves SYR at 6:20 a.m. Do you think a 45 minute lay over is too short? I could choose the next flight out of JFK which would be a 1 hr 45 min. lay over. I'm meeting people for a DIS meet at MCO. They'll be arriving at 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., so I'd like to get there as early as possible.

Any thoughts? Does Jet Blue fly out of one terminal? I figure at least I don't have to worry about a snow delay. LOL.

Unless there's a delay with your flight, you'll be fine. There's 1 JB terminal.
