My particular favorite is the one who announced they had a relationship but she wouldn't discuss it. The public didn't know about her until she got an attorney (Gloria Allred the publicity hound) and made this announcement. So what was the purpose of proclaiming you wouldn't discuss it? Just don't say anything and don't bother with an atttorney!

I never even heard of sex addiction or rehab for it until David Duchovny was in the news for both. It's the new "in" thing for Hollywood/Famous cheater pants.

ETA- I think it's just an excuse, too. I think the men are glad to get out of the spotlight and lay low till the media tires of them and are onto other stories. That's probably a big part of the "therapy".
