Could be low self esteem on her part. Could be that she thinks he would never do that to her because their love is so strong. I saw a photo of the ring, a close up even..and I can't really see what it looks like because of her tattooed finger..it kinda all blends together.
I have no issue with whatever they do, but wow, not looking like the odds are in their favor.
