Jersey week?

I am about to change our dates from 11/14-11/21 to 10/31-11/7. Should I be concerned about crowds this week? This is our first trip so I will have nothing to compare it to but the crowd calendars put this week as busier than our original week. We are switching dates to stay at the Poly -- I will have 3 younger kids including a 4 month old so the space and location are tempting but I don't want to regret it because of crowds.

Ive never been this week, but I heard its definitely more crowded and the airfare in particular goes up substantially as well.

We would actually save about $500 on airfare! The airfare and flights later in the month are much worse.

I've been in Disney for the Jersey Week the past two years and the crowds weren't terrible. With the exception of one bad trip to Jungle Cruise (and accounting for good use of Fastpass+), most waits were 20 minutes or less.

Your first few days will probably be very crowded and it will lighten up a bit as the week goes on. Last year, we were there for the equivalent Sunday through Thursday. Sunday and Monday were pretty rough, but it was much less crowded from Tuesday on.

EDIT: I just checked the projected numbers on Touring Plans, and with the exception of the first few days, the overall crowd levels are pretty comparable both weeks. You shouldn't feel the sting too much.

I went this week last year and really enjoyed it. Was it busier than visiting in February? Yes. Was it tolerable? Yes. It wasn't that bad at all.

I really enjoyed that F&W was still going on and we also got to attend the first MVMCP of the season! Our flights were in range with what we spend the rest of the year so there wasn't any extra expense there. I would definitely suggest using websites such as easywdw.com to plan out which parks on which days, that will help minimize the impact.
