Jersey week?

I saw on another website a reference to something called "Jersey week" that affects Disney crowds. What is Jersey week?

This year it will be 11-1 through 11-8.Usually the first full week of November there is a teacher's convention that everyone likes to take the kids out of school during that time.

I was there awhile ago during this time and it was crowded but I usually go at Easter time so it was not as bad! Everywhere you went everyone was saying .... "Guess you are from NJ?" And I am! I didn't understand at first how many from NJ go during that time!
