We will be at WDW from 11/5 - 11/13 and have started reading about Jersey week? I am wondering what that is (I am assuming a NJ school vacation week) and how much it will contribute to the crowds. What are the exact dates of this? Thanks!

"Jersey Week" is usually the first week in November. Most of the schools, here, are closed that Thursday and Friday, with some schools having more days off. Our schools, for example, are open on Monday the 1st and closed the rest of the week.

A lot of people go to WDW, during this time, because their kids won't miss a lot of school.

We've gone, this week, a few times. Comparing the crowds to the summer, it's a lot lighter. Comparing this time to early December, it's a little heavier, but not that bad.

The weather has always been perfect. Little to no rain and temps in the mid to upper 80s. We wear shorts and tshirts the whole time.

You will only be seeing the tail end of "Jersey Week" as it ends that weekend.

This year, the dates are November 4, 5 & 6, but in 2005 and 2006 it's the following week. Here is a list of dates from the NJEA website...

Dates for the future NJEA Conventions:

2004
Thursday, November 4
Friday, November 5
Saturday, November 6

2005
Thursday, November 10
Friday, November 11
Saturday, November 12

2006
Thursday, November 9
Friday, November 10
Saturday, November 11

Have a great time! :)
