Jersey Week Flights

Just checked and it seems that the fares have gone even higher..sigh

That's what I was afraid of. I bit the bullet and booked Jet Blue a few days ago. It was more than I wanted to pay, but not more than I could afford. I just checked and if I were booking now, my flight down is the same price, but the price for my return flight doubled!

Yeah it’s insane. I also booked last weekend. Hope it goes down for those that have yet to book.

Fingers crossed for those of you still holding out hope and the Southwest Sale will be a good one for you all.

I just rolled th3 dice on SW having somewhat reasonable return flights. I just got phl to mco Saturday Nov. 3erd for 129. Fingers crossed.

You're not alone! We have friends who are also doing an Orlando trip for Jersey Week (though we're not in NJ and had no idea Jersey Week was a thing until I started reading these forums - my friend couldn't figure out why flights and hotels were so much more expensive that week). Anyway, she just went ahead and booked flights for Friday, Nov 2, and is taking it on faith that they'll be able to get back sometime the following week. Her kids are understandably excited at the prospect of an open-ended Florida vacation! :rotfl:

Flights on SW for 11/2 from PHL to MCO have been insane ($250+++) since a few hours after being released. I just looked today and they are around $160-$250. Not as low as when they were released but much better than before.

Still holding out hope for my return on 11/11 when they are released.

I just looked and our nonstop flights from Tampa to philly on aa on 11/10 are now $278 pp one way. Glad I booked them at $165 pp.

So there’s hope. I just found Phl to mco for $85 pp for our August trip on SW Airlines. Sweet spot seems to be 3 months out.
After travel credit it was $30 pp. We were previously flying from Newark at 5:30 in the morning so this is awesome.

We flew SW around Jersey week last year. We went for a long Veteran's Day weekend and flew home on the Tuesday after Veteran's Day and prices weren't high at all. Flying on an "off" day would definitely save you money. I'd also be right there when the flights come out as I find they are often cheapest then.

It’s tough when your dates aren’t flexible.

My flight for October went down $25 per person today. Hoping everyone here gets some lower prices too.

Souhwest opened up today. Got my flight home from MCO to PHL on 11/11. Leaving at 10:15 pm. Nonstop. $184 per person. A little more than I’m used to paying but I’m Very happy with the price considering it’s Veterans Day weekend. Other airlines are $270++ and that’s not including bags. Non stop flights are around $300++.

I booked my flight to MCO back in March. 6 am nonstop flight for $156.

So $340 round trip per person. Much more than I’m used to paying to go to Disney. I’m used to $200 or less RT per person but knowing this was jersey week i was budgeting $300-350 per person. Considering other airlines were $500 or more I’m happy!

We are going 11/10-11/18, and we ended up getting roundtrip $272/person. My friend is going Jersey Week so I looked at the flights for her dates and they were so much more expensive than what we paid. Our 6am non-stop flight from PHL on 11/10 was $164 and that same flight on 11/4 is $307!!!

That’s why i decided to fly out on that Friday. I had a feeling those weekend flights would be crazy high.

I saw a flight on 11/11 for $108 leaving at 6am and I thought of you...guess it was sold out or you didn't like the time?

Oh no. That’s way too early to go home! Lol. Catching ME at 3 am. I can’t. I don’t mind the 6 am flight to Disney though!

We’re hoping to do MK PM EMH on the 10th. Right now it’s scheduled until 11 pm but last year it went to 2 am. I’m hoping for the same this year. So a 6 am flight wouldn’t work if it extends to 2 am.

LOL.. I hear you. So after seeing the options on SW, I am happy with our $120pp American Airlines flight out of Tampa to Philly on 11/10. We leave at 2:00pm.

You got a good time and price! Im not super excited about 10:15 pm but we will make it work. I only have 8 day tickets. I’m thinking of upping it to 9 days. Or we could do disney springs. I haven’t been in ten years and I’m not a huge fan of shopping but it might be worth a trip for DD.

We have a June trip (leaving in two weeks) and our flight is at 11:15pm arriving in Philly at 1:15am! so 10:15pm isn't too bad..lol That flight is on SW but was only $67 so for that price, I'm doing it..lol
