Jersey Week 2013

So.............our trip is booked during "Jersey week". I had not even heard of it until after we booked.
I was a little scared of the possible crowds, and of the fact that no discounts are offered that week.

(However, we are arriving at the very end of free dining, so were able to snag that for our entire length of stay )

But, I was playing around last night with the booking system, and plugged in Jersey week dates at several different resorts and found plenty of availability.

So...............maybe that's a good sign ? You think ?

It's not Spring Break, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Week etc crowded, but its not September empty either.

Also, the end of F&W fest plus a marathon is also thrown in for that weekend as well, which adds extra crowds (especially in the EPCOT area).

We are going that week (3rd time) and have a great time. Just manage your crowd expectations and you will be fine

We have gone that week a couple of times in the past as well and loved it. Totally manageable...no worries and have fun!

Is your whole trip overlapping with Jersey Week, or just some of it? We are braving Jersey Week for a portion of our trip also, but I think it will be fine. We were there in the hellishly busy time in early January this year (something to do with Florida school break ) but we still had a great time.

It will be busier than usual that time of year, but I don't think it's "resorts sold out" busy. I wouldn't be worried about it.

We have gone several times that week and going this year... I am not worried and other people are making Jersey Week out to be the most crowded time of year when it isn't at all. It is no where near as crowded as the Holidays and summer months! It also isn't empty either but I find it to be just fine. We have a certain way of touring the parks and it always works out great in the end. Have fun!

I think most of it. Our dates are Nov 2- Nov 8.

It's Veteran's Day weekend also, so I don't think there aren't discounts just from "Jersey Week" because it's just the weekend of the 9th & 10th I believe that doesn't include the discount
