I believe the schools are closed November 9th & 10th. I think most people usually take that whole week off (Nov 6-10).

Not from Jersey but I am going Nov 8-11. It's my anniversary ... but my mom lives in Cape May NJ (retired there) so I am Jersey by default!

I am not from New Jersey but we are going Nov.8th-Nov 13th staying at POFQ. Can't wait!!

i am from nj, but unfortunately i will not be there for jersey week as i usually am.. well unless i hit the lottery, lol!!

on the upside, i will be in WDW on this friday!! three more days!! yeah me!

Don't get me wrong -- I love Jersey -- but I thought we had picked a good week when crowds would be less. We are cruising the 12th - 16th and I really wanted to do WDW before. Not from NJ either but will be done there from 8-14, we were there lat year for Jersey week as well, didn't notice crowds larger than usual.

Just wanted to say COLORADO MOM.

I've heard it is not really bad during Jersey week ... guess we will get to see!!! The reason it might be moderately crowded is the holiday not necessarily the Jerseyites.

I'm not sure what you were trying to do with the smiley thing? When you post there are little smilies at the bottom of the page right before the SUBMIT REPLY. ALso a little lower is "Show your signature, automatically parse links in text and disable smilies in text" Mine is set to CHECK, CHECK and NO CHECK in the disable SMILIES. Could that be the trouble? I am certainly NO TECHIE!!! - just a thought! Good Luck!

SnwflkCts!! I LOVE this board! I have been reading until the weeeee hours of the morning ever since my hubby gave me the go ahead to plan our trip. I am soooooooooooo excited! Never been to WDW or on any cruise. We've been to Disneyland a few times, but this is the BIG one! Now to create a siggy line and get a countdown ticker! Too much fun!

We'll be there! I am going with two other families, staying from November 6 to 12th! Nice to see so many non-Jerseyans going, too, as I got the impression that many other states also have days off that week! This will be my first stay at the Swan, while all my friends are staying at the Beach Club Villas. Less than four months to go!

We will be at the Poly from 11/6 through 11/16 and we can't wait!!!

Don't worry about it being too crowded with us Jersey Folks, there are other places to go on vacation, they all won't be at WDW

We are from Jersey and will be there the 6th-10th. We were there in 2003 during Jersey week and did not think it was crowded at all. Welcome all who are going. The weather is usually less hot and humid and very enjoyable. Can't wait..... See you there. (having 'puter problems,no graphics.Oh well)
