Jersey Week 2005

Can anyone tell me when this is. How much does it affect the parks.

This year, the New Jersey schools have Thursday, Nov. 10, and Friday, Nov. 11 off for their annual Teachers Convention. In addition, most schools have 1/2 days scheduled for Monday through Wednesday of that week for teacher confrences. Lots of NJ residents take that week off school to go to Disney, since their kids will only miss 1 1/2 days of school. Some come for the whole week, and some come for just the Thur- Sun time frame. Crowds are not affected too greatly- but wait times are a bit longer. However, compared to summer, Christmas, and Spring Break, it is great!

The other consideration for 2005 is that Veterens Day falls during Jersey week- usually this brings in big crowds from Florida. Also, Super Soap Weekend is possibly going to be the same weekend. This is held at MGM, and brings huge crowds to meet & gret ABC soap stars.

Wow! We will be there Oct. 29- Nov. 4, and we are staying at Pop Century! IMO, this will be a pretty good time to go- Halloween decorations, MNSSHP, and low crowds. Can hardly wait!
