A lot of the gas pumpers here are kids going to college. They pump during their off hours usually at night. It works out because their are retirees working during the day and the college kids at night. I would hate to take this away from them. I go to a gas station attached to WaWa down here (convenience store) and they are all really nice and I have gotten to know a lot of their names and we have conversations while waiting for the pumping to complete. Could I do my own, of course, no qualms about it. Now before anyone gets upset about the being retired or whatever, I live in a rural area. It's a nice place with nice pumps. The guys say they love it. It gets them out of the house, a couple extra dollars in their pockets, and a chance to talk to people. I know this because I ask them - why do you do this and that is what they say. The college kids like being able to do classes in the day and work at night. It works for them. Ha, they even decorated one of the guys booths when he graduated.

I guess it's all the way you look at it.
Oh, and some of the guys I work with have it down to a science, they are getting filled up and have the moment to grab their coffee, when they come back 2 things accomplished. On the rare occasion I have done this I have left my car unlocked. No worries, the guys and girls, are there when they are attending it. It helps that I get them a hot chocolate or coffee while I am in there sometimes

There isn't anyone here walking through the pump area just meandering around, because everyone pulls up. This isn't a bad thing guys, it just the way it's done here.
I still don't understand what the big deal is...

When in Rome do as the Romans do... I pump when I am outside of NJ and when I am in I don't. No biggie...
Hope everyone has a great day and doesn't have to pump where ever you may be.
