Jersey Folks...prediction for Jersey Week 2022?

I am tentatively planning a trip for jersey week 2022. I’ve been looking online and I haven’t seen a confirmed date for the NJEA convention for 2022. I ran across some districts calendars when I goggled and they all have the convention for November 3 and 4. Now I’ve been in NJ all of my life, and my kids went to NJ schools their whole lives (DS graduated 2018, DD graduates 2024) and to my knowledge the convention is always the first FULL week of November and election week so it should be the 10 and 11. I went back the last ten years and sure enough it’s never been that early. The earliest is November 4 and 5.

What do the other jersey folks think? Has anyone heard anything or have any info?

I wouldn't be so worried and just wait until it’s released but I’m thinking of renting points so I would need to get on that around October - December.

I just did a quick search and found two Jersey school calendars for 2022-23. It appears that it is November 3rd and 4th for 2022. If we get ours anytime soon, I will be happy to post it. That is pretty early though.

I’ve seen those too but I’m thinking they are estimated since NJEA hasn’t released dates yet. I’m going to bank on it being the 10 and 11 since it’s always been the first full week of November and election week. But who knows. My district closes for election day and does half days Monday and Wednesday. My daughter would love if it was 3 and 4 because she could be there for Halloween! My district doesn’t release the calendar until February of that year. We just got the 2021-2022 calendar.

Yeah, I just checked the NJEA calendar and there’s nothing on the schedule that far ahead! I’m kind of shocked the schools would put out a calendar so far in advance! We actually just got ours last week for the 2021-22 school year!!! I agree with you though, it’s always the second week of November! I would be pretty shocked if it is the third and fourth! I will definitely let you know if I hear anything, I actually am friends with a few teachers in town, so I’ll pick their brains and see if they know something that far in advance!

Ok, I just asked one of my Teacher friends. She said.... “That’s not released yet, but typically we know around Feb. for the following year. It’s always been that first week of November though.” Doesn’t really help, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

The last time election day was the 8th (2016) they did it the 10th and 11th.

I have to admit it was been years since we were at WDW during “Jersey Week”, the thing is we were there and never noticed that many folks from the Garden State. I didn’t even know there was such a thing until I saw on this Board a few years later. What I did notice was an influx of locals around the long weekend (at the beginning of one trip and the end of the other).
