Hi ladies!
i didnt go to the doctor actually. The bump is smaller today but if it doesnt feel better tomorrow, i will go.
My friend didnt have the scale at her house when i was over (took it to school to weigh the kids for a lesson) so no weigh in..i am 153 on my scale though.

Everything is going okay with me--its been a long day, but its expected on mondays--i didnt f all asleep til 230 this morning..

Also, about the knot on your head...(knothead!!)....please get it checked. Mysterious bumps & lumps need to be examined....whether they hurt or not.

Hi ladies!
well my typical boring day went a bit crazy. First, the bump is barely there anymore..

My brother (who is a volunteer fireman, and sometimes rides on the ambulance) got a call on the scanner this afternoon for an address that he knew-It was his friend from high school's house. Her grandmother and grandfather had been having some health problems so he basically raced out of the house. We found out a copule hours later that it was actually his friend's father. He had a massive heart attack and passed away, despite the efforts of my brother and the EMTs and paramedics that were there. My brother and the guys are crushed..The girl has been friends with him since he was 13..She is in college in NC and will be flying home tomorrow..
I just talked to one of the guys that was there with my brother--he is pretty shaken up.

I also found out tonight that my friend Janelle's (she was here a few weeks ago ) grandfather died. I also have a viewing to go to tomorrow. If you could just keep my brother and the other guys, as well as the families, in your prayers, i would really appreciate it..

I have been trying to keep busy--its just been a rough couple of days i guess. Im just not looking forward to anything , not my birthday, not the trip..nothing..i guess im just down..
but september is almost over, so October WILL be better!

Oh, Jen, I am so sorry for all that you are going through. Sometimes it seems as if we suffer so much loss in our lives in a short period of time and it is overwhelmingly sad. I hope you will remember that we mourn for those who are left on this earth but celebrate for those who have gone to a better place where there is no pain or sadness. Sending you a huge and I am SO glad you have your cruise to look forward to. A light at the end of a tunnel is brighter than those that shine in the everyday light.

Thank you ladies! sorry for all the whining lately! i guess everything has just been a mess..but in an hour it will be october--i will try to start looking forward to a concert on the 13th, my bday on the 18th, and getting closer to the cruise..

It was great to spend the day with Brad and Madison yesterday. She is getting so big! We went out to lunch and then just played all day..It really was very relaxing!

I am sitting on campus now..I have been SO unproductive. I brought my homework with me (big 3 hour break today) and i havent done any of it .
I think i will be headed to the dr this week--remember the bump behind my ear? that went away but now theres a lump thats a little farther down my neck..i have no clue what iti s, but if it doesnt go away in a couple of days, ill head in to the dr.

About an hour ago, i got a text message from Steve (brothers best friend, in air force)..he said he is going to be deployed again, this time for 6 months, unless he gets extended. he is hoping he doesnt get deployed until January so he can enjoy the holidays. I knew it was coming, but it killed me to see that text from him..I got used to him being home and he was just talking about moving in to our house last week..

I'm so sorry about Steve. I know he is so close with your family. He'll be in my prayers. I too hope he can be home for the holidays before his deployment.

Now, i dont wanna hear "i told you so" but i DID go to the dr ..she gave me some antibiotics. So well see if thatt helps

Other than that,,just been working and going to classes and doing homework..thats the plan for the next several days, with the exception of Saturday--im going to some lady named Kim's house.. :

I'm glad to hear that you were able to get to the doctor's office.

I know that you are quite busy right now, but just think.... in a few days, you will be cruisin' and sunnin' .... School and stress will be left behind and you will get a chance to rest and relax....

Tracy-I cant believe the cruise is in 37 days!! Im so excited..That is the only thing getting me through all the craziness lately!

Ive been doing pretty well with my exercise for this month since SOMEONE got me doing the exercise challenge with her ..I am at 120 minutes so far and palnning on doing something today as well...

This weekends plan...

Today-Class, getting my blood drawn, and work til 6..then i will come home and do some homework

Tomorrow--going to kim's house

Sunday-Homework and watching the big eagles/cowboys football game

This is Alex and I--the picture was taken yesterday--Its amazing how far he has come since June 24! I appreciate you guys letting me vent here so I figured i needed to post a picture so you could see who you were praying/thinking good thoughts for.

I have still be in a very blah mood and its driving me crazy. Im pretending that everything is good and im okay, but its starting to drive me crazy. My thyroid levels are 2.88 and while within normal range, i feel really low--My doctor is going to call me tomorrow and we are going to talk about switching my medication--im sure that will help. Other than that, i am trying to get myself excited about the rascal flatts concert friday and my birthday.. The good thing is that i wont be sitting home on my birthday--We are going to olive garden after classes and work on Wednesday..It will be me, my mom, dad, brother, uncle greg (firemen), John (firemen, and his wife, Steve and Chris (my "brothers").

Im just going to keep acting excited and happy and hopefully soon, i will be..have a great night all!
