time for me to vent--sorry!!
I have problems,,and i cant get them to fix haha...
i started exercising and all that good stuff, but i cannot stop eating the junk..i dont know what is wrong with me--im tempted --like tonight, i couldnt stop myself from eating oreos--i go babysittnig and the kids have everything..i dont know if its bc its TOM or what,but im going to be a whale by the end of this month..how doy ou guys not give in? HELP! thanks!

As for not giving in, sometimes I do, but I am trying to have 1 piece of chocolate (that is my oreo!)... It's really hard, I know...We are trying to make our bodies behave and learn good habits... I kind have likend it relearning a chord on the guitar. I learned it one way, but there is a better way to play it. For the longest time my brain kepty trying make my fingers play it the old way, but I kept practicing and practicing and now I can see how much better the new way is... It is exactly the same for food... At least it is for me!

Jen You can do this! We all know you can! :cheer2:

Thanks for sharing the pictures. You are a beautiful girl, no whale in sight.

I have to have a mental conversation with myself every evening to keep myself from eating. Sometimes I am successful, sometimes I am not. If I occasionally just give myself permission to endulge, I am not tempted for awhile. When I totally cave, I just push the water for the next 72 hours. I am in this long term, and I am not perfect. Just do your best.

Your pictures are great Jen! I especially like the one with Goofy! :teeth:

When it comes to junk food, I'm an expert at eating it, but not an expert at controling my portions when I am eating it. I think Beth's advice is good. Sometimes we will have slip ups and when we do, we just have to push that water to flush the "junk" out of our systems.

Exercise really helps me keep control of food. Usually I exercise early and anytime I want to eat bad...I think of all that work I did. But I can totally relate to the uncontrollable eating with TOM!! I just think that is evil! It's just one of those things that you have to get through and realize that it wasn't really you making those decisions!!! It was that evil TOM! :confused3 Just as long as you get back on track :teeth:

this week is impossible staying on track..and i can barely motivate myself to want to get out of bed today

i went to the dr, who removed a mole last year, and now i have to get more out, and she said she doesnt like the way theye look--so im just not in the mood to do a thing..
err sorry to whine,,
i swear as soon as this stupid TOM is over..im back on track!!
 
Oh Jen..I'm so sorry to hear about the mole :hug: Nobody ever wants to hear bad news from the doctor. I'm sure that has put a damper in your motivation. Take care of yourself! Sending :wizard: and prayers your way.

thanks guys, i am so sorry ..i just really needed to vent yesterday..my brother did the "well youve had a tono f surgeries, this little one shouldnt bother you"..and i know hes right...but it doenst help me from being scared
so thanks for listening to me, i really appreciate it
on the bright side, tomorrow i have 2 good friends coming to visit me from my 1st college in PA--were all going to a country concert--not many people my age like country so we have a blast!

im not even going to mention exercise because nothing happened yesterday so dont shoot me yet :) i swear next week will be better--i need to start doing something if i want to see results by disney..

jen, i go to disney in may--may 11-16...right now , i cant wait !! im going with the friend from PA that is coming today..i only see her a few times a year so i cant wait!
then we just booked a cruise with my family, but its not till january..

well hope you guys have a great weekend--im off to relax till 8 then start a ton =of homework..again, thanks for everything,,i couldnt do all this without you
 
Awesome!!! DH is going to Charlotte memorial day weekend... I am so tempted if I could get a decent flight to go to WDW with DD.... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm......
