Is anyone signed up with Jenny Craig? How much is it per month? Their website doesn't give you any dollar amounts, only that someone will call you. I don't want someone to call me - I want to research it on my own and then make a decision.

I don't have any personal experience (well I was a member about 20 years ago) but out in CA they are running a special for 20 pounds loss for 20.00 NOT including the cost of your meals..... So what this means is if it takes you one week or one year to lose 20 pounds you don't pay anything other then meals on a weekly basic. Usually the cost of meals is about 10 - 15 per day..... And to this amount you still need to supplement with fresh vegetables and fruit. Hope this helps you get started.

I did it way back and it was a few hundred to join and then the cost of food, plus they try to make you buy all their vitamins which I fought so I didn't have to buy them and then the cost of food, it was about 60-70 a week but that was 20 years ago!

I did Jenny Craig last year. I went weekly and it was the deal for 20 lbs for $20.00. They weighed me and we discussed my weekly eating habit as well as planning my menu for the coming week. The food was very tasty, BUT, very expensive. It cost me anywhere from $102.00 - 110.00 for the week, depending on what items I picked. The diet did work for me, as I did lose 1-2 lbs. per week. I stopped going after around a month because the expense was alittle too much for me. I had to buy food weekly for my family, plus, my food.

!00% just my opinion but I wouldn't go with any plan that makes/wants you to buy their food. Unless you are prepared to do that for the rest of your life. Go with something that teaches good eating habits at any gorcery store, restaurant or cart on the street that you want to eat at. GL with whatever you choose.

I joined jenny last year.

Of course I got the premium plan
comes with books and stuff.

Plus you get 10percent off food , and by week 20? you get 30 percent
off.... I paid 500 bucks....YUP.
Cost about 80- 100 dollars per week... not cheap!!

Good thing about it is it teaches you to eat small amounts
all day.....Lost 36pds in 4 months.....

Of course the minute you stop eating small amounts......
ooops 22 pds back on......

Cant deal.... at least i'm still 10plus down from last year....

I did this over 10 years ago. The food was REALLY expensive!! It was also terrible. At the time, they gave you a menu, though I believe it's changed now. It did work. I lost around 30 #'s at a rate of around 2 lbs per week (some weeks more, some less).

Coming off was really hard. I didn't know what to eat.

I'd recommend weight watchers. I did really well on them and LEARNED how to eat. They have a great on line program so you don't even need to go into a center. (Which is hard when you're a busy person.) They have great message boards with lots of supportive people.
