My daughter will be crushed when she gets home from work and hears that he was voted off. I thought it was really sweet when he sang his farewell song and pulled his father out of the audience. I wish I had thought to tape it for my daughter, but I really thought it was going to be the other John that was going home this week.

I don't get to see the show until tonight (Friday) in the UK but the good thing is the results show is on right after it so I don't have to wait a whole day

Love or hate Simon Cowell and his opinions they are usually 'on the button' even if they are cruel.BUT this time he is (almost) ruining it for me because he has this biast blinkered opinion on the 2 Johns.

I think Fantasia, Jennifer and George are absolutely amazing (and the other singer I only remember her surname is London) when they sing I actually get goosebumps it is so moving.Jasmine has fantastic potential too.I like Fantasia's voice because it is unique,if you heard a record by her on the radio it wouldn't one of hundreds of nice enough nameless voices,you could say That is Fantasia,I think thats a good thing!

How the *'#2187 can they put Fantasia in the bottom three and the Johns are safe? If one of these singers goes out because people are voting for the Johns it will make a mockery of the programme for me

Of course people are entitled to thier opinions and JPL is the closest thing to 'cute' I guess and the other John is very young.Stick him in a tribute show in Vegas or caberet, for that he would be fantastic and nothing else!

Come on America vote them out

Sorry about my long thoughts but nobody is watching this show but me so I've no one to 'air' my opinins to Phew I feel better now

PS I haven't read the last couple of posts in case it gives the result away!

Oh rats I couldn't resist looking again and now I've seen the result before watching tonight I'm too dratted nosey!

it's true to say it's not that popular over here.As I said I'm the only person I know following it and it is on an obscure cable channel too!So I'll have to share with you lot every week now......and not see the result ahead of the show

BUT it is far better than the original UK version,I'm not sure why just a combination of many things that are done differently on American Idol.

I feel a bit mean about JPL now It's true he deserved to go but he was a nice guy
