I'm keeping my fingers crossed . Hopefully they'll be announcing the new discounts soon. I think we'll be able to get bounceback for 40% so that will bring us closer.

okay I am bad with updating lately. I blame it on school...

I feel like there is SO much to do and no time at all.

We have already started to get RSVP cards! No one has said no yet!

We also paid for the WHOLE honeymoon I was trying to take pictures while DF was doing it....I failed

We ordered Bride and Groom mickey shirts off disneystore.com today! they were onsale for $14! I was very excited..I will take pictures when they arrive!

still waiting for my etsy sellers to finish my BM's and FG jewelery. so I don't have that yet.

How early should I order my gum paste flowers for the cake? and candy buffet? I don't want anything to happen to them..but I also don't want to not get them in time.

This MAY be because I have nothing better to do....but I have been contemplating bangs again. Now I grew my hair out (since July?) so that I could decide and wouldn't be limited. Now I can't decide if I like the look of the swoop bang....oooooor if I want my normal bangs back for the wedding. Any thoughts on this? Anyone had bangs or know someone who did and they bugged them? I was thinking of deciding on the day weather wise and having her just cut them. THO I don't want sweaty bangs at disney! ew.. can't decide......

okay thats my hair rant!

I am on the search for things for the wedding and honeymoon...here is my list

-small backpack....just big enough for my DSLR and like a wallet (I did the whole messenger bag thing last time and that gives the whole....like **** line thing? (does anyone know what I mean?) i'm not into that
-a fanny pack! (hahaha.....for when we go on water rides)
-Wedding cameras
-a White umbrella just in case it rains

Also DF has told me that we can get tickets to go to the D23 expo in 2011! which MEANS...first trip to DL and Hollywood! yayayayay! I was very excited and already researched how much hotels and flights are!

I am also thinking about taking a carnival cruise with my mom, she has been talking about going to an island for like EVER and carnival cruises are SO cheap. I thought it would be a thank you for all she has done for the wedding. we will see how that goes.

does anyone know if there is any place on property to get my hair cut?

I made a must do at disney list.....its kind of long! hahah

2. I love that you made a character meet goal. I am not really into "disney" the characters, but I did regret not getting more pics with them last time, so I think I will do the same thing (you inspired me!!)

3. The hanky for your mom is so cute!

4. I really like your hair in the trial, so I would say leave your hair the way it is (no bangs). They are so difficult, especially when you get hot. I went back to bangs in November (longer ones to the side) and now how been frantically growing them out, since I don't want them to ruin my wedding hair, or have to deal with them while on vacation. I just think they involve so much more work...but it depends what you want!


5. Disney will send you a link to pre-order your photopass CD I think a week or 2 before you go! (someone correct me if I am wrong).

yay! I'm glad your back....I have no idea how I missed your new PJ.....I have been way too spacey lately! (I am getting a new phone so I may get better!!!)

I am a total child.....DF gets so frustrated with me when we are trying to get to a ride and i'm yelling that there is a character I must get a picture with. hahahaha

I know what you mean with bangs....I LOVE my bangs...but they do get annoying sometimes. I just didn't want my forehead to look huge
I need to think about this. If I do it isn't going to be like the day of the wedding!

I didn't know how close they send the cd email to when you leave! I was worried I missed it somehow!

You hair looks so lovely in that hair trial! Definitely stay away from bangs I think. I too used to have bangs for years and years. I don't know about you, but it took me forever to grow mine out. My FSIL (who's doing my hair the day of) told me it's best to grow them out as much as possible for flexibility with wedding hair. You can always get them cut afterwards, but you can't make them instantly longer on the day.

I like the the side fringe - swoop bang did you call it? I've had one of those for years, I got my hair cut in a normal fringe at the beginning of last year and I liked it, but not as much as the side fringe.

I personally wouldn't get my hair cut the day of the wedding. Too much can grow wrong. I'd get it cut at least a week before hand. Let it grow in.

Another vote for side swoop bangs. I think full-on bangs might be too much for the wedding day and not work as well with your hair style. You can always get them cut after the wedding. My MOH has had bangs her whole life and for her wedding they parted them off center and swept them to the sides. It looked nice and was still her.

I started growing them out last June....they are now long enough to pin up. I miss my bangs but didn't know if the wedding was the right time to play I grew them out so that I could make a choice and not be limited. My hair has also developed a natural curl (I normally have pin straight) which is genetic? my moms hair changes every 10 years or so from straight to curly. Which is interesting to say the least....I don't know how curly hair works in Florida heat

Yeah...I agree. I am a little afraid about Florida heat working with bangs....it worked fine when we went in December but it was breezy and not hot at all. soooo....I have no comparison.

I am silly! and FAILED big time they were TERRIBLE. I did however find this Texmex recipe for wraps. I have been taking that for lunch. it is pretty good.

Yeah they have grown out quite a bit (I have been stuck with bad hair for way too long now) so I hope they will be okay. I don't want them to fall or anything. my hairdresser told me not to worry. so it should be good

Hey ladies!

so we have limos! finally. it was way too hard to get these people on the phone and get prices! so I am very grateful and happy.
so this car will take me, mom and grandma to the venue and then take Luke and me to our hotel in the evening

Then this one will take the wedding party and anyone else who may need to hop in. I hate limos so....no pictures will be taken with it so we didn't care what color it is. I was surprised to find out that just because its black.....is half the price!

We are moving along with our engagement photo shoot! I am sooooo excited. This will be a great warmup for me and DF because we have never done professional photos. The guy sent me like 60 locations I can choose from! I have of course already looked at them and chosen my faves now I need DF's opinion. we get 3 hours, 3 clothes changes and 3 locations! Here are the ones I like the best!

Here is something I need everyone's help with! Me and DF are still looking for a first dance song. I think we have narrowed it down to 3...(we'll see) so I wanted your opinion on them. I think I am leaning towards Smashing Pumpkins but I still can't make up my mind! (please let me know if it doesn't work there should be 3 songs)

I don't think anyone else has answered this - there are a number of salons at disney I think like 5 or 6 of the hotels have them. I have never had the greatest experience but that is just me.

Congratulations!!!
My darling hubby and I were married at WDW in 2002, and (of course) we honeymooned there, too!
We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside before the wedding, spent the night before (separately) at the Grand Floridian - and wedding night in the honeymoon suite, and went for the week and a half-long honeymoon at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Of all 3, my favorite was definitely the AK ~ romantic lighting, and really cool to watch the animals outside your windows (everytime I had to wake up in the middle of the night, I would look outside to see "who" was on the savanna! Definitely get a savannah-view room if you choose AK!

Port Orleans Riverside is also a romantic-feeling resort, if you want to stay in the moderate price range, though! I've stayed in quite a few other resorts, and actually own DVC at Wilderness Lodge, which is another favorite. Happy to give insight on theming on the romantic meter!

yay for finding a limo company and score on getting 1/2 off. I think I would prefer black limos for the BP anyway.

I can't help you much on the first dance song. The dances haven't been our strong suit, I still need to pick all of those.

Ooh I love the locations for the e-shoot. I like the beach and the college, the restaurant looks interesting but will there be people eating there? That might be weird. But it could be cool if no one's there.
