As Rowena and Amelia walked up the aisle, I took a deep breath. Finally the music changed to Can You Feel the Love Tonight and I was walking down th aisle with my dad.
At this point, Carl was told to turn around and face me - I thought he was going to cry then!
When I reach him at the top, he tells me I look beautiful and each say "I love you." At this point we do both nearly cry, but manage not to!
At the beginning of the ceremony, we had asked Teresa to give thanks to my parents, and as we looked at them, I could see my mum was trying so hard not to cry. Afterwards she said they were so touched that we had put that in, and that it meant a lot to them.
The rest of the ceremony flew by. Unbeknownst to us, Amelia was worried that the breeze was blowing the petals onto my dress, and kept walking up my train to brush them off,

bless her! At one point she came up in front, and handed us each a petal, which was such a lovely thing, and totally unprompted.
When it came to saying our vows, Carl tripped over his first couple of words but was then confident and clear. Everyone really liked the vows we chose, and we think they were completely apt too.
Before we knew it, Teresa was asking for the rings. Robin told Joshua to pass the ring pillow but he went all shy! We loved that mum had bought the Mickey and Minnie ring pillow that we had seen at the UK
Disney store.
After we exchanhed rings, and mum had done her reading for us, we were pronounced as husband and wife. Although we had talked about our kiss, it didn't quite go to plan - we were so relieved that we were a bit more full on than we planned, lol
We walked back down the aisle to You'll Be in My Heart, and we were laughing all the way. It's funny to watch the DVD as everybody comes back down the aisle and you can see Amelia in the background, still chasing the petals!
