I am coming down on the 3rd of Nov with friends, we will not be checking into our resort until the 4th though. We have decided to just stay off sight the first night since we won't be down until about 5PM. Anywho I was thinking it would be great to go to Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk that first night. Since I wouldn't be staying at a resort (that night) or coming from a park how would I go about this? What do I tell the resort guard? Is there a time limit for parking? Is there a fee for parking? Any advice would be great.

I tell the guard that I'm going to the Boardwalk to get a bite to eat at ESPN, then going to Jellyrolls. Then I'm directed to the self-parking lot to the left. But I'm also a DVC member so I also show my card. Never had a time limit imposed, though.

There is a 'public' parking lot across the main street from BW. It's behind the Hess station. Anyone can park there. Then, just cross the street, walk past the guard shack and head up to BW.
Or, you could park at DTD and take the bus to BW, and then back to DTD again.

What does JellyRolls have to offer?? My husband and I will vacationing at disney soon and we may want to check this out.

Jellyrolls is my favorite bar in the world. They have dueling pianos and with a dollar and a cocktail napkin you can pretty much request any song and they'll play it: new stuff, old stuff, everything. Just be aware that its a very popular hangout amongst us CM's so if you don't like crowds, I wouldn't recommend going on a Tuesday because that's the unofficial "CM Night". Also, remember that since it does not serve food, smoking is allowed inside of the bar. But I will guarantee a great time.

A second to the "Jellyrolls is the best bar in the world" opinion above. I am a local, and go to Jellyrolls all the time. Its easy to rack up an expensive evening, but then again, you are guaranteed a good time....

I think domestic beer is $4.75. And yes, only 21 and older - they card everyone who enters.

We usually get there around 9-9:30 on Fri-Sat, that is if you want to have a table down low close to the pianos. After that, you may have to sit on some high tops toward the back, but there really isnt a bad seat in the house...

We actually will be hitting jellyrools on Monday night...11/4...My wife and I will be meeting up with a group of her friends from her disney message board next week and Mon night is supposed to be Jellyrolls after the wishes fireworks cruise...

haven't been there in a few years, but it's always been a great time...
