What songs do you request? When we were there, Ray performed "What a Wonderful World" just like Louis Armstrong. He also does a great job at "Piano Man", although he gave me some grief about it (it must get requested every hour! ;) )

What are your favorites?

When we were there last year, we requested "Sweet Caroline" and both performers/audience liked it because everyone participated.

The performers seemed to really enjoy playing anything by Jimmy Buffet, the Beach Boys, and various "oldies".

Have fun :p

Depening on the group you get - We have never been to Jellyrolls - but we did do Pat O'Briens at Universal -

If I had a Million Dollars (Barenaked Ladies)
Brown Eye Girl
The Day the Music Died
It's Not Easy Being Green (we are a little weird - we know)

Not sure what else I remember - a many cocktails were there too ...
Have fun!

One of the funniest songs is "Ol McDonald had a Disfunctional Farm"
also like to hear another BNL's song "One Week"

Jack & Diane
American Pie
Scences from an Italian Restuarant

It depends on who is playing - the first time we went they had their 'B' Team up there warming up the crowd. They couldn't really play any of the 80's music we requested. They even said 'thanks for ruining our credibility with the first round of requests of the night.' It seemed like they were great with the really popular sing along type songs from the 60's-Present, though. Ray and Scotty completely kicked *** and played just about everything we requested. I love Jellyrolls and we still go early if for no other reason than to get a good seat and have good buzz before the place gets packed.

Schoolhouse Rock! They did a great medley of songs like Conjunction Junction, I'm just a Bill and others.

Someone requested "Short People" and they played it VERY reluctantly. And my group requested "King Tut" by Steve Martin and they refused. :confused3

Big huge ditto to all of these! :) I especially love Scenes from an Italian Restaurant. :sunny: Also:

When I'm 64
If I had a million dollars
Brown Eyed Girl
Hey Jude
The Joker
The Gambler

and lots lots more that I can't think of right now because always get there around 8:30, get buzzed soon there after...and well the night just goes from there. Hehe!

OMG I don't know, but don't Google :scared1: for it! Certainly not what I'm looking for...

I usually request Neil Diamond or Elton John. They did a great redintion of my favourite song "I want you to want me" by Cheap Trick in May for me.

I have never been to Jellyrolls but i do know that if you have any questions about it , you should keep an eye open for the tues nights on the parks and attractions board. Karen is one of the mods for the chat and is A jellyrolls fanatic. She is the guru when it comes to their song database

What is "Ol McDonald had a Dysfunctional Farm"

Come on, can't figure that out? LOL
It's a parody of the kids song "Ol McDonald had a farm, E-I, E-I, O"
Except the animals all have dysfunctional characteristics......
Very Funny!

I didn't google it, but I imagine it could be close to the lyrics that they use to play in Ybor City in Tampa when Jellyrolls was open here. Let's just say alot of their material has been cleaned up for the Disney crowds. Tommy used to play here, I think he's the only one left who did. It's a fun place!

"Baby Got Back" is always a crowd pleaser. :rotfl:

Thanks for all of the replies and the great song suggestions.

Regarding the farm song, I did a google search on it yesterday and must have gotten the same listing that you did Lady Cluck. I am not requesting that song unless I know what I am getting into.

We love the place, and Ray is great. That said, we have enjoyed everyone we have heard play there!

Some of my fav's that have not already been mentioned:

Tiny Dancer by Elton John
Dream On by Aerosmith (Jason has to be there for this)
River of Dreams by Billy Joel (Drew has to be there for this)
Crazy Train by Ozzy Ozbourn (Jason has to be there for this)
Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard
Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (THIS IS THE BEST!!)
Dancing Queen by ABBA (Drew has to be there for this)

You can probably tell from my list that I love classic Rock! :cool1:
