I have a quick question regarding jellyrolls. Is there disney transportation (bus) from boardwalk/jellyroll's to the on-site hotels like the contemporary or polynesian? If so, how late does it run and where does it pick up at?

Thanks!

The special buses to the other WDW Resorts begin running later at night
(estimate, after 10pm, or so) and will
continue until just after Jellyrolls closes for the night.
The bus stop is the one for the Boardwalk Resort,
which is out in front of the main lobby doors of that resort.
(#21 on the map below.)

We stayed at POP and just cabbed it after our night

I have heard that there is transportation at the Boardwalk Bus stop for the on-site hotels that run late for the visitors to the Boardwalk. We are counting on it for family that will be visiting us at Boardwalk for a Jelly Rolls night.

You can do that, but there is bus service late at night.

Yeah but the cab was so nice - busses with a buzz aren't so fun! ;) Plus my tipsy girlfriend got to practice french with the Haitian cabbie!

Is this bus new? I've never heard of it. Did they start it because BW is the only place with a nightlife since they closed PI?

1- Yes.
2- You gotta get OUT more. (or, at least read these boards more.) ;)
3- AKAIK, yes.

i also prefer to cab it!! always seems much quicker return also.:thumbsup2 think its only like 8 or 9 dollars.

So...you catch the bus at the Jellyrolls stop and then it goes directly to your resort? Or do you have to go all around the stops to get back home?

I will be going from Jellyrolls to WL in December and would love to know how this works.

1- catch the bus at the Jellyrolls stop and

2- then it goes directly to your resort? Or

3- do you have to go all around the stops to get back home?

1- "Boardwalk" stop, but yes...

2- It can go directly, or stop at one or two others on the way.

3- It all depends on the number of buses waiting, the number of guests waiting, and which resorts they are waiting for.

The drivers/dispatchers can make the decisions on-the-spot, due to the current situation.

This is also the way that resort buses are run/dispatched following later-in-the-evening Hoop De Doo Revue shows at FtWC.

(And yes, many guests don't know that they now run those Hoop buses, as well.)

Robo....

YOU ROCK!

Question...how is everyone getting to the Boardwalk from your resort?

We are thinking of going there later in the evening (like 9:30) I know we won't get seats but we have ADRS ;)

BEFORE the parks CLOSE:
Take Disney transportation to DHS (walk or boat to destination) or Epcot's front gate (walk to Int'l. Gateway, walk or boat to destination.)

Note that the Swan/Dolphin boat dock is just as close to Jellyrolls as the Boardwalk boat dock.
So, coming from DHS, exit the boat at Swan/Dolphin and cross the bridge to Jellyrolls.

AFTER the parks CLOSE:

You need to bus to DTD and changeover to the bus to Boardwalk.
I'd make every effort to NOT do that, so, if you want to go to Boardwalk area,
plan to arrive at DHS or Epcot before closing time.

(Or take a cab.)
BEFORE it closes

Thanks Robo! I was thinking that this is what we'd need to do.

Its a shame that they don't run a circle bus that goes to all of the resorts (considering how many people dine at different resorts.) I also think its a bummer that you can't get a bus directly to the minigolf courses. I guess there wouldn't be enough demand for this.
