I just got a bulletin dated September 9th on Myspace from the Jellyrolls page (not sure who really runs this myspace page) stating that the cover has been reduced to $5? Is that true? If so, I'm surprised - especially with AC closing you would think that Jellyrolls wouldn't want/need to lower the cover.

Can anyone confirm? If so - YAY! More money I can put into the tip jars for the pianomen

Oh really? That would be great if it did. We plan on hitting Jellyrolls a few times next week!

I checked with one of the Jellyrolls pianomen, and he told me to his knowledge that it was not reduced, and that it just wouldn't make sense for it to be reduced with the upcoming closure of downtown Disney.

I tend to agree with him on that. There will be more interest in going to Jellyrolls without Pleasure Island.

with PI closing, Jellyrolls will see a huge spike in business. While it's great for business, it can get crowded in there I think. Oh well, at least it's somewhere to get drunk and be entertained
/grumble about PI

I called and it's definitely $10- , but worth every penny!

when you figure you pay that for a 2hr movie,
then live entertainment for 6 hours and free popcorn
is a much better deal!

sorry to hi jack this thread but i do have a couple of questions about jelly rolls..

we have never been to jelly rolls hoping to go this October, but we are also non smokers since smoking is allowed is it really smokey in there or do they have good ventulation units at the bar???

if we arrive there about 9 pm is it pretty busy at this time we are planning to go there on a sunday night or is it just getting started??

I'm a non-smoker and have never had a problem with the smoke in the bar, unless someone next to me is smoking up a storm. They have to have a good ventilation system to protect the piano players...

If you get there at 9pm on a sunday night, the 2nd set of piano men will be on stage. There should still be plenty of good seats.

Enjoy!!! :goodvibes

Thanks TLinden and Twotoohappy! I was hoping that one or both of you would be posting about this. Sadly I'm leaving WDW before Mousefest this year so I won't be able to do a jellyrolls meet :( I'm still reminiscing about 2005 - haha!

That was a fun one! Sorry you won't be there this year, Stacy. :(
