Jellyroll's or Yehaa Bob?

I'm looking for something to do after the parks where my boyfriend and I can go relax and have some drinks with some entertainment. If we only had time for one, which do you think would be the better choice? We are both in our 40's.

I get the impression is Jellyroll's is more adult orientated and Bob is for the whole family. Is that a correct assumption?

What time is a good time to go to get a decent seat at either show? I have read Jellyroll's fills up fast. But what time? If we go before 9:30 are we generally safe, or earlier? Not sure how Bob's crowds are.

Thanks!

Oh my, we are Bob-aholics so I may not be fair to Jellyrolls.

If you enjoy laughing and silliness, Bob is your man. He has been there forever which is a testament to his popularity. Want get an idea of the flavor of the show, just check it out on YouTube.

We generally make a night of it when we go. We head over early and grab a bite so we are there to find a table and chairs . Often it's standing room early in the early evening.

Early the show is geared to families. He will have the kids up at the stage. The show changes later in the evening but silliness continues. If you are there at Christmas time, hide when guests are selected for 10 Lords 'a Leaping!!

You will laugh, you will shout, you will beat your chest and do the Tarzan call .......and you will be happy you are far from home so no one sees you. Show gets better as the evening....and drinks flow.

One time I was up front doing the Can-Can......with my foot in a walking boot after anachillies accident.

Your face/cheeks will hurt from smiling.

I think The Yeeha Bob show is kind of silly and sophomoric. Fun to sing along, I guess. Dd18 and I hung out in the hallway a bit as we returned from the park one night. Just a couple songs were enough for us. I'd suggest trying Jellyrolls for some thing more adult.

I prefer Bob for smaller venue and good drinks & laughs
Jellyrolls not as quaint in my opinion
I truly liked Bob better

we too are loyal Bob followers! Every time we are in "the world" we make a point to go see Bob! He has a way of engaging the audience! Bob goes around before the show and gets to know some of the people in the audience - he really makes it personal! He also likes to remind us "you'll never see these people again" so it makes dancing in a conga line a little less unnerving :thumbsup2

We experienced a full Yeeha bob show in May. We had a blast. Bob is a one of a kind man. His energy is contagious. He's engaging. He gets everybody laughing. We were dancing around, participating, cheering, laughing (of course drinks help ;)). DH had to get pictures, autographs, a copy of his cd. We just loved him and will do our darndest to get back to see him in November. To be fair I have no idea what jellyrolls is. We're in our 30's.

We have seen Bob several times and will also see him in November. My wife has always wanted to go to Jellyrolls and we have never been able to go because DD was underage. However, she is now 23 (it's been 5 years) and we are going to go with or without her. We are looking forward to both, but we love Bob. Wife and daughter went to Braves spring training 2 years ago (no on-site stay) and still had to go to Bob's show. It is just plain fun.

I prefer Bob. Bob is just high energy fun and he's the center of attention. Everyone is captivated by Bob and joins in 100%. The couple of times I've been to Jellyrolls it seemed more like a spot for people to drink while sometimes listening to some piano guys.

Yes Bob is great please everyone go see yee bob, I hear Jellyrolls is boring no one should visit >.>

Have never done Jellyroll's but love Yehaa Bob! Went with friends to F&W last October and spent a great evening with Bob. So much fun!! Our age is mid-late 40s. Have also done many piano bars in other places including near home and always have a great time there as well. However Yehaa Bob is something different that doesn't seem to be in other places. Highly recommend seeing Bob!

Loved Bob when the kids were young, but now that the kids are over 21 it's Jellyrolls hands down. It's wonderful to have a "stroller-free zone".

Jellyrolls was amazing! Music was great and had nice specialty drinks! We were there with four other couples and had a great time!

Jellyrolls is a must for me every trip! Was just there a week ago and had a great time. Music was great as usual due to the amazing piano players who play all requests.

I'd definitely give it a try! :cool1:

Having done both pre-kids....I would go with Yee Haw Bob. We were even at Jelly rolls with 2 other couples and we found it boring

We're two adults in our late 20s, no kids, and we prefer Jellyrolls. We've caught Bob before on a prior trip at POR and not only was the lounge area crowded but we felt the show definitely catered to kids/families. Yes it was cute and he was entertaining, but we would not go out of our way to watch his show and have a few drinks/relax.

Jellyrolls is cool because it's a little later start and it's 21+ admitted, so it's a nice reprieve from kids and families. Depending on who's playing, sometimes it's more enteraining than others. And if it's a bust, you can always pop in ESPN Club for a drink and catch a bit of whatever game is on, or just stroll around the Epcot area resorts.

When I looked at Disneys schedule it looks like bob will play 3x on one of the nights we are there. Is there a difference in the shows or a better time to go? Does the show last 30 mins? We will be there in October

I've never heard of Bobs.
Where is it and how can I find out when he is playing?
Can I order drinks wherever he plays?
Thanks.

Jellyrolls....we need more kid free zones at WDW.:wave2:
Never even heard of the other guy...

Can someone share more info on Jellyrolls?
Is there a cover charge? Is it a show or more of a lounge?
What is a good time to get there...is going after Epcot closes a good plan?
