Hi!
I'll be in WDW with my DD(24) from Feb. 27 - March 5 and am planning a trip to Jellyrolls. I've never been but have heard that's it's loads of fun. Do they serve any food at all or should I eat dinner on the Boardwalk before going? Is there a particular night of the week that I should avoid? I was planning on Sunday, March 2nd, but can switch to another night.
I've brought my kids to WDW about 30 times beginning when they were 3 years old and now that they're older, it's fun to do "adult activities" together. WDW still makes me feel like I'm 12 and I know that will never change. Hope I don't get carded...(I'm 57...lol).:hippie:

They can't serve food, otherwise they wouldn't be able to allow people to smoke like chimneys in there. If you're sensitive to smoke or just plain find it disgusting, this isn't the place for you. It's not Disney owned or run, so it's the only place that allows indoor smoking.

Thanks for the info. I'm a reformed smoker (haven't smoked in 30 years), but will probably still give it a try. We'll try to go earlier than the main crowd...maybe the haze won't be too thick at that point. We can always leave and enjoy the Boardwalk if it gets too bad.

I think JellyRolls is definitely worth a visit, but the air can definitely get stuffy in there.. just depends on the crowd. There are some nice dining options at BW. My favorite is Big River for good pub food and microbrews. Flying Fish has great seafood, but it's on the pricey side - definitely an option if you want a nice sit-down seafood dinner. No sure about Spoodles.. I've only been there for breakfast/brunch.

Hope you have a great time!

Just quit 2 months ago...still go into smoking establishments doesnt bother me as of yet..go enjoy...and try and behave yourself this time:rotfl2:

As everyone else has said it is STINKY, but it is a LOT of fun.

I would save it for your last night or so, since the smoke is so bad that you won't want to wear those clothes again during yout trip.

In my experience, Sundays can be kind of dead there. The busiest nights are, of course, Friday and Saturday, but also Tuesday, the traditional "cast member" night. Not sure which type of night you are trying to avoid, but something to keep in mind.

I think you'll have a great time at Jellyrolls. I know I'm planning a few nights there during my trip and should be there also on March 2. Bringing my DB and DSIL for the 1st time and looking forward to it. Yes, Sunday night might be a quieter night, but you never know at JRs, especially if there's a convention in town!

And as far as the smoke goes: I'm a non-smoker who hasn't had a problem with the smoke in there, unless it's really crowded and a heavily smoking crowd.

Also wanted to let you know the doors open at 7pm, but entertainment starts at 8pm. Cover charge is $10.

Enjoy!!! :goodvibes

Thank you all soooo much for the great tips. I feel much better about going now and since my DD & I love music in combo with a relaxing drink, I think we'll have a ball. I hear they call people up onto the floor to sing sometimes. My DD already told me in no uncertain terms that that was just NOT happening this trip. Hmmmmm we'll see.:hippie:
Maybe we'll see each other there travelin' Tigger...will you be the one bouncing??? I'll be the one giggling!:wave2:
