Jello Shots ?

A friend of ours made these once and put too much vodka in them and they wouldn't gel, I've never made them so I don't know if this is true or not though

If you don't like the taste of Vodka in the shot (you can taste it); try and use Triple-Sec!

Also, we will put our jello shots in the freezer for about 5 minutes before we serve them - mmmmmmmm.

You don't taste the alcohol and you don't realize how much you have had until you stand up!

Thanks so much! I think I will try the lime and the watermelon. I laughed so hard at the idea of strip trivia. In our MUCH younger days we MIGHT drink that much but we are all old and responsible now! Besides trivia is a fund raiser for our home and school association sooo. I wanted to make some just to bring back some youthful memories but I don't want to leave being the talk of our church and school!

How did they get gummies in them? It seems like the "worm" would be to big. But might be fun with tequila.

I am going to have trouble deciding! I went back to make a grocery list and all the flavors sound so good. Cherry Coke Orange and Peach Schnapps Goldslagger with pretty sparkles I want to try them all now! Maybe you guys should come on over Sat for some strip trivia!

I would also suggest, to add a package of Knox unflavored gelatin to any of the recipes. This just insures that they will gel up nicely!

I love Jello Shots but they can really sneak up on you. You can get very VERY Drunk!!

OK I have them all ready. We did lime with Tequila, The Cherry Cuba Libre, Orange Tequila Sunrise, and Cherry with Cherry Pucker. I did half with the 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup rum or whatever then half with a full cup of tequila. We'll see which we like better. I have about 50 of the little cups so that will be plenty. We have a table for 10. Thanks again for all your help! I'll post about how much fun we have on Sat.

Have fun! Remember, they are strong but you can't taste it and won't feel it until the jello melts in your stomach.

Wanted to say thank-you all. We had the best time last night. I took 50 and they were the hit of the party! Lots of fun as many stopped by our table to visit and have a shot. And the most amazing thing, our team actually won! So we have decided the jello shots shall be a trivia tradition. The favorite was the cherry with the pucker. Thanks again everyone.
