Jello shots...How to??

So, I'd like to make some jello shots to take for a birthday party next weekend. Does anyone have a recipe? Or a how to? I don't have any of those little paper cups. Could I make finger jello instead?

What are some of your favorite flavor combinations?

I have pina colada and margarita flavored jello. So, I'm thinking rum/pina colada jello shots and tequila/margarita jello shots. Any other suggestions??

If the regular jello recipe calls for 2 cups of water total, I usually replace 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup of the water with vodka....have fun!

I replace a bit less than 1/2 of the required water with vodka.

And you need the paper cups! For the "squeeze-factor".

I always use blueberry or cherry. Enjoy.

I get plastic "condiment cups" from Sams Club or the local liquor mart (25/.99) but it's cheaper to buy in bulk.

I LOVE Peach Jello with Absolute Peach... I think I even used Schnaaps (sp?) once, too...

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Island Pineapple Jello with Captain Morgan Pineapple.
You can barely taste the alcohol.

Flavors I've noticed that don't work very well are Black Cherry (with regular Absolute) and Lime.

There is a Tropical Fusion flavor out, too, that I use with Captain Morgan Pineapple or Coconut...

I was a Jello shot girl before the baby. I had a section in my fridge that usually always had them.. helped me sleep. Haha.

(Same alcohol ratio as PP, 1/2 water and 1/2 alcohol but I usually made 1 flavor weaker than others)

LOL- yea, I remember when we used to do those at work atll the time! You really need the paper cups, they are just not the same in plastic or anything like that-it loses the whole effect! I usually replaced at least 1/2 the water with vodka- at times I replaced ALL the water depending on how strong we wanted them!

you need to make pudding shots! They are so much better than jello shots!

To make jello shots just replace the cold water part with the alcohol.

jello, 1 cup boiling water, 1 cup alcohol.

Look for the little cups in a party store. I bought mine and the lids in a local party store. I've also seen them at Sam's but there were like 250 in the package.

I just got done making about 100 black and gold jello shots for the superbowl today.

You also have to make sure that you don't add the vodka while the water is still hot that you use to disolve the jello or you will lose some of the alcohol!
