If your school is closed on the first day of Deer Season, you may live in Pennsylvania.
Last night I had to remember what the Blue-route's number was in talking about a local highway project with my Dh to compare the 2. He'd never been to Philly b4 he started dating me LOL
YOu know what?
I've been in VA for almost 4 years now, and I STILL cannot get used to year round Dairy Queens with drive throughs no less. If its not summer I won't touch 1![]()
And as for the route numbers, what person in or around Philly needs those. Heck i lived outside of it most of my life and remembered the route number for the schuylkil(Pronounced School-kill for the uninitiated) less than half the time. if you call a nosy person nebby
if you call thorns on a bush -- jaggers
if Rolling Rock beer is not an import

And how about all you people who know what SCRAPPLE is and LIKE it...IF it's cooked right!
Dont know about orange routes but the BLUE ROUTE is really a portion of Rt476 that runs from the end of the Turnpike(Midcounty exchange) or the end of the NE Extension (another road name!) to Interstate 95. This project took forever to build and there were many arguments among locals about it being built. On the map it was always distinguished as Blue Route and the name stuck. It was built and within a year it was the most used road in SE PA!
