Jeep Safari on Cozumel

Hello Everyone..

Has Anyone done the Jeep Safari on Cozumel?..

I have it booked...But am having second thoughts...

May just want to relax on the Beach..

has Any One Gone?..

Been there, done that, loved it!!!
You will get some time to relax on the beach during the tour. There is a delicious lunch, and each party had their own canopy and blanket to lie under. We also went swimming, although some people just laid out. I HIGHLY recommend this tour. The Pee Pee Station alone is priceless.

I also highly recommend this! Our tour guides were the best, we had so much fun. I never laughed so much in my life! We had the only zebra stripped jeep, it was a hoot!

We are also going for the first time and I've heard it's great, I'm just worried, we are a family of 5 and I don't want to drive the stick, I know my DH can do it. How's the jeep driving part work?

When we were there in February, most all of the vehicles were not sticks but automatics. They allow only 4 per vehicle. We were a party of 3, so we had one to ourselves. I'm not sure, but depending on how many sign up for this excursion, and how many "jeeps" they have available, one of you might get paired with someone else. There were only a handful of actual Jeeps, the rest were like Trackers and little SUV's like that. You might be able to swing 2 in one, and 3 in the other.

We did the DCL sponsored Jeep Safari and all the vehicles were regular Jeeps that had stick...this was last January so maybe they updated them.

I loved it!!! I got to drive!!! It was well worth the money but anyone who has the slightest back problem should not do this...it is a very rough ride....so much so that my wrist watch flew off my arm never to be seen again!!!

You get a beach stop with lunch so wear your swim suit under your clothes as there is no place to change.

Is this the same thing as "Dune Buggy Tours Of Cozemel"?

We're going in October, and read about this place on these boards. My neighbor and I BOTH e-mailed them twice(!) to make a reservation. We both asked to be e-mailed back, so that we know that they got our reservation. We've heard nothing!
I'm wondering if it is legit?

Our excursion was specifically called Cozumel Jeep Safari Tour so I do not think it is the same excursion as Dome Buggy Tour
