Jedi training school...

How do you get to participate in this? My 10 year old is nuts over Star Wars and we will be down there for 6/4 to 6/10 and would like to take in the Star Wars Events one day.

There is a sign-up desk by the Star Tours location. Just ask any Cast Member in the area. They will direct you there.

Jedi training school is for the kids and your son will just love it if he is a Star Wars fan!! My nephews did it last year and still can't stop talking about it!!
There is a roped off area next to the Star Wars ride with a stage. A sign is posted for the times of the jedi knight training. Line up early close to the ropes. About 5 mins before the show starts a Jedi knight comes out and picks about 20 kids from the crowd. They are taken up on stage and given a light saber and robe. They are taught several defense moves then Darth Vader and Darth Maul come out and each child gets a turn at fighting them!! It is a great show!! After the show the children are given a certificate as an official jedi knight and a star wars lego toy!! That definately was the highlight of the whole star wars weekend for us!! My DS was to shy to participate, but had a good laugh when his cousins did it!!

I don't know what is so weird about asking if adults can participate also. Most of the people I know who are diehard SW fans are over the age of 30.

EXACTLY!!! most major fans are over 30.

my husband would have loved to do this, but it is still going to be fun to watch.

I know! My SO would have loved it too.

Hey - to any DIS execs reading here : Open up a Jedi training school for grown men and I guarantee you you will have the "classes" filled every day.

I can think of 3 or 4 guys I know who'd have a blast doing that.

I still think it's going to be a fun weekend.
