We will be using our 1 MM on Thursday, July 7. We also have a Plaza Inn breakfast for 10:40am that same day. I want to register my DGS for this as soon as we can (before the breakfast). My question is, can you register a child first thing in the morning for a later training? We mean to be at the registration as soon as it opens, can we register him then for the 12:30 training or do we have to register him for that first opening? I hope this makes sense to someone!:o:rolleyes:

I also want to add that we are planning to go to FL, ride PP, then whatever else we can get on in FL until we have to be at the JT registration.

Hi there, we just did that last week - we went straight to jedi registration area and it was open already (like, right around 705am or so on a Saturday EMH) so we did that very first - we could pick from all of the sessions - I think the first one was at 10 so you would probably want one later in the day. We were trying to schedule around an 11am lunch at Blue Bayou and had to go with the 2pm session to be safe.

So its open during EMH??

So glad to hear this! I didn't think it was open at MM, that's great. He's so looking forward to this. We will head there first thing! Now once they are registered that means that they are definitely in, not a "picking" process. I had read that they would have to show up and hope to be picked, but that might of been for WDW, not sure.???

I want to add that you SHOULD head directly there, before you do anything else. If you're first in line it won't take long, but when we went on a Thursday to sign up our boys we showed up around 40 minutes into the EMH and there was quite a line. We waited for a good 15-20 minutes and at that point the two earliest slots were filled.

Oh, and yes, they get to be part of the show. They'll give you a ticket and that's that. They do allow some children who aren't signed up to come at the designated time as "alternates," in case some children don't show up, but if you've got a ticket, you're good. I highly recommend this, it's a really cute show and much more high tech than I imagined. All of the children "train" and then get to battle a Star Wars Villain. You and he will love it!

They used to pick kids from the crowd but have since changed it. :darth:

Where exactly is the sign up located?
It's right by the Star Wars launch bay - go up the walkway and ask the staff (there aren't really a lot of signs - it's right across from the Autopia entrance which is easy to see)- and I agree, go right at 7am - we had our pick of all times, and there was no wait to talk to staff.

We signed up today. During EE, they were only signing kids up for the latest 3 times. My husband got in line around 7:45 and had about 40 families in front of him. So, it was after 8 when he got to the front and he signed up for the 11:35 show. We walked by at 8:45 and the sign was up that registration was closed, but there were still maybe 15 groups in line. I'm guessing they were the last groups being allowed to register.
