Jedi Training/Dream

does anyone have an info on Jedi training on the Dream.
Last trip we were supposed to do this at HS and Dh was throwing up so we only went to HS for 2 hours and missed it.
Out of nowhere DS says yesterday that when we go back to Disney he wants to wake up early so we can do Jedi training.
We are doing the Dream in January (Xmas surprise)and I thought I read about this a long time ago.
Does anyone know if this is offereref and how hard it is to get into. I recently booked the meet and greets but did not see this as an option.

I saw in a past navigator they had a couple times for the Jedi training in the oceaneer lab/club on the schedule. It's my understanding you just show up at the scheduled time and they randomly pick kids. I would also love to hear about others experience with it as my DS would be interested in doing it during our July Dream cruise.

there are 2 types of jedi training on the dream. one happens several times and is in the kids club. they have it during both open house and secure programming. the jedi training in the club doesn't use lightsabers and instead teaches kids to use the force (mental energy) to do things. there is no limit on the number of kids who can participate in it. the 2nd training happens (if I recall correctly) in the same theatre that the shows are in. it happens once a cruise and is set up to be more like the jedi training at HS. I have heard that they only select a handful of kids to participate and the selection is kind of random (it isn't the first x number of kids in line gets to do it). I offered it to my boys but since they did it the year and a half before at HS they decided just to do the one in the clubs and not this one and instead did the mickey 200.
