We did JTA this morning we made it to the park for RD @8:30 the park opened at 9 am . We walked right to sign up quickly but not running. Our time was 2:40 show. There were a ton of ppl. There b4 us. But my son had a blast. It was great worth the rush.

While it may be a glitch, September 12 is the last day that has a schedule for JTA in MDE.

I might have to go to the dark side this trip

Over on the SWW thread, it's being reported that the CMs are confirming the Oct. 4th date as the last day for JTA before it goes down and becomes the Rebels themed JTA.

Do they ever formally announce closures? I Googled "Disney ride refurbishments" and the only sources I find are from Disney blogs. With FP+ attractions, you can confirm with MDE messages, but something like JTA, with no FP+s available, I'm not sure if we'll really know until the day of.

To add my two cents - you'd think Disney would at least warn Make-a-wish because there are wish kids who intend to do this on their Make-a-wish trips. Make-a-wish is booking people for October, November, and later and if their wish kids aren't able to do this, they're going to be very very disappointed. I know mine will be. I called Make-a-wish and they haven't been told about it yet either. If my son had known some of the Star Wars expansion was coming end of 2015, he'd have chosen a later date anyway, but that can't be helped. Losing JTA would be hard though.

This is really upsetting. I hope your kid and all the other make a wish kids at least can get some kind of M&G with Vader or something. That's really awful if you can't do it

Any rumors for when Rebels themed JTA will start up? I have a December trip and I agree this is a huge dissapointment!!! My youngest daughter loved JTA in 2013. She had her hopes up to participate again this year. I will have to talk to her and change the expectations for HS now.

I am canadian and canadians cannot get a Chase or Disney Visa card. That makes us out of luck for the Vader meet and greet?

I believe yulilin stated the new Rebels-themed JTA will debut before the SW movie is released. Hopefully it fits into your trip timeline.

It appears they are theming to the new movie and all the other SW-related shows. Rebel Hangar lounge was extremely popular during SWW this year.

I'm fine with them using the new movies in the new land, but I wish it didn't seem like they were going to use it exclusively. The kids will probably not care, and they are what matter the most. But there are two generations worth of parents that want to be immersed inside the original trilogy.

Thank you. We will travelling from Dec 9-21st so maybe it will work out nicely for us. I will be positive about it. A new experience is exciting.
I am very sad for all the people affected by JTA closing. Does anyone know the best way to provide feedback to Disney

I'm keeping my eye on what happens for this one. They had a Star Wars Day at a museum near us this past weekend, but it reached capacity (and we arrived 40 minutes early) and my DS couldn't meet Darth Vader. But he was ok with it b/c (direct quote) "I'm going to battle him at Disney World". We go in mid-Nov. Double Whammy.

well just call disney I only got the respond. No closure is been annonced and really didn't heard something about a closure oct 4.. that was not a good help
