Who has experienced this? DS has done this in HS and wondering how similar? If it's held every cruise,
only once per cruise? And if parents can watch or is it only during kids clubs hours for kids only??

My sons did this on the Dream in November, I can't tell you what it was like because it was during secured programming on our cruise. My younger son told me that a jedi comes out and that the millennium falcon area in the kids club actually has special effects built into it that are only active during these programs. My son said when it was his turn he made R2-D2 move. He said that there were stormtroopers and darth vadar. I was hoping they would have offered this program during open house time so I could get pictures, but it was not. They had fun.

Thanks! Do you remember if it was listed on the personal navigator and did you only see it offered once on your cruise?

It was offered more than once during the cruise, and I think there were two different star wars activities. It is listed in the navigator where all the other activities are listed in the club/lab. If you have a smart phone, download the DCL app when you get to port, you can see all the days and times that it is listed.

There are two things. One is what the PP described and 2 storm troopers and one General come into the Kids club and they fight the force with their two fingers (I made my 7yo get specific). There is another thing in the theatre where onLy 6 kids are picked and they fight vader similar to JTA. It's only once and we didn't make it but the kids still enjoyed watching it.

Thanks- how do they pick kids- on the spot in the theatre? Seems unfair. If they're in the theatre, isn't there room for a lot of kids at once??

It's first come first served so you have to get there early. And there was only one during our 4 nighter so it's not like you get a second chance. Some of the kids were booing, lots in the theatre were disappointed.

My kids did not do the one that was in the theater, and my youngest said he saw darth vadar. He had to have been in one of the one's in the kids club also...
