Jedi Training Academy: got a call from guest services

I just went on MDE and where you can add something to your plans (this is not a reservation), I selected the Training Academy. Then when I selected Oct 3, I can select from a list of time...any date after Oct 3rd shows "no times available".

I just got an email. From guest services too that this will be unavailable after 10/3. We had a November trip plan and my 6 and 4 year old were so excited about it.

The last day for JTA is October 4th. Sessions will run all day on the 4th before it ends its run and goes dark.

This makes me so sad. Is there any idea as to when it's supposed to reopen? I have to do our fp+ at midnight and don't know what to do. We currently have DHS on Novemember 30. Would we have a better shot of doing Jedi training if we move it later on in the week since it will be December?

This is really disappointing to me. I definitely feel for those of you who are going in Oct/Nov and missing out. I'm fortunate in that we went in August and my DS was able to enjoy it then. I'm most disappointed in the new show being based on the TV show, to me that is going to make it far less appealing and I'm not even sure my DS will bother with it. He will sometimes watch the show, if it's own, but he's a fan of the movies and particularly the first 3 movies.

Oh my word....my nieces and nephew are going to be soooo disappointed...this is their NUMBER ONE favourite thing to do at the parks! I can't believe I hadn't heard about it until now... And of course we arrive exactly 2 weeks after October 4th...wow! What a bummer!

Jedi Trianing Academy is getting redone to add new characters and change the show a bit. A permit was filed a while back for work to the existing stage.
