Jedi academy training ??

I thought it would be fun to come up with some more.

Pick me, you will
When [X] years old you reached, look as good, you did not
Chewy says, "Aaaaaargggg!"
The odds that you won't pick me are approximately 3,720 to 1
I know what really happened to TK-421
The Force is middling in this one
Thank the maker you picked me
Don't be a mindless philosopher, pick me
Don't be an overweight glob of grease, pick me
I'm good against remotes AND the living
This is Red 5, I'm ready to go in
I suggest a new strategy, pick me
Luke? He owes me $20
You don't need to see my identification
It's not a trap!

Just show up a bit early, and it helps, as mentioned above to have them dressed in either a Star Wars or a Disney shirt (bright colors that are easy for the CMs to call out, such as "The kid in the red shirt with Darth Maul on it!") and have them hold a sign (I've read about them saying things like, "The force is strong with this one" and "I want to be a Jedi!"). :)

Awesome! Thanks! I am working on. Shirt now and will definitely do a cute sign!

Just read thread dedicated to the Jedi Academy a few pages in. Looks like the best bet is a sign and enthusiasm. So hoping DS gets picked will try anything. I guess there is no sign up like at WDW the Master Jedi picks from the crowds. As I finished reading the thread I am wondering if DD should have a sign she loves acting and will be upset if big brother gets to go on stage and she stay behind LOL

My ds7 is not shy- not one bit! I will make sure he Is really excited and enthusiastic!! Thanks!

Just got an update from our daughter, who's at DL this week. Our 5 yrd old dgs is Star Wars crazy too and this is one of the must-do things for him. She has strongly reinforced everything that's been said already.

For the first show, Jack was nervous and not sure. He didn't get picked and was upset but they watched and became familiar with what would happen. She remembered what I had suggested, from the tips here, and quickly made a sign (Jedi Jack), just a random piece of paper with a regular ball-point pen. He also had an R2D2 snack bucket with him. There was one other boy with a sign and they sat next to each, front row. These two were the first ones picked. She also said there were LOTS of kids there and not everyone in the front row got picked.

Good luck everyone!

we were in disney for jedi shows on friday. We were the first to arrive for the morning show and planted the kids front row. My daughter had princess hair from BBB and my two sons waved their arms and shouted pick me all three of them were picked :) the show was awesome and was a highlight of our trip. My two teen sons were in the crowd and my 13 year old son had a yoda back pack and Darth Maul was very interested in the back pack and we have a lot of photos of him in my sons face giving him the evil eye it was awesome

it seemed for our show, the shorter children (also younger) fought darth vadar and the older taller children fought darth Maul
Both Darth vadar and Darth Maul were there it was a great show anyone who is remotely a star wars fan shouldn't miss it.

OMG OMG so excited!! Thanks for the info!! Super cool! Always nice to get a little variation on a very cool experience, to start with!!!

We had a star wars shirt on (from etsy) but I realy think the key if you do not want to make a sign or wear a shirt is get there early. We talked with the guy as we sat in the front row. My nephew was a little shy and they still picked him right way.

I don't mind buying a shirt...my DD18 will make the sign and we will be ready to train like a Jedi! :) whooo hoo!

As an fyi, the photopass photographer is at the Jedi Training Academy to take pictures of all the little padawans. Hadn't seen this mentioned before but perhaps I missed it.

Good point! That's awesome! We finally did the Jedi Academy in January 2013 at WDW and I was surprised at ALL the pictures that were taken by the photopass photographer! That was such an added bonus!!!! Love it!
