Friday, October 1, Day 7 if I counted right

We were up early again for a breakfast. DH is wondering by now if he'll ever get to sleep in on this trip, probably not! Today was the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot; DH looked at me funny when I told him that, waited until we were at Epcot and it was too late before I told him. Again, we were there when they started letting people in. A nice CM stopped with a golf-cart type thing and asked if we'd like a ride, but we wanted to enjoy the walk. I took a few pictures in Mexico and Norway, and we checked in for our PS. We were there for the opening ceremony, it was really cute. All the servers/CMs sang a song, then they had the Princess of the Day open the door magically. We were seated quickly, and had a great table, close to where the princesses came out. Snow White was first, just a quick hello, autograph and picture, pretty much what I'd expected from other reviews. Next we saw Belle, same thing, then Jasmine. She was our favorite, she took a couple minutes to talk to Trevor, and got a picture with him and one with Isaac. Then we saw Jasmine, Mulan, and Princess Aurora. They were only a couple minutes apart, then we enjoyed our breakfast. The food was really great, which surprised me. We liked it all, but we didn't need seconds of anything. Once again, the bacon was crispy, just the way i like it, and the cheesy potatoes were awesome! And the rolls at the beginning of the meal.....wonderful! Anita was our server today, and she was very good, kept glasses refilled, asked several times if we wanted more food, etc.

After breakfast, we took our time walking back to Future World, and went over to Journey Into Imagination. I dont' remember it from before, although DH says we rode it. We enjoyed it, and we were the only ones on it at the time! We played in the What-If lab for awhile, and send an email/postcard to MIL. After that, we went outside and watched the jumping fountain for awhile, DH "caught" it and splashed the water on us several times, and we just had fun. We went back over toward Spaceship Earth for the Characters on Holiday Bus, it got there just after we did. First character we saw was Minnie, in her red dress! Finally, pic to go with my paper! DH asked if I was happy now, then we got in line for Pinicchio and Gepetto, but they had to leave just before we got to them. Oh well, try again later. We went over to the World Showcase, and got right on El Rio del Tiempo, which we liked as well. We walked through the pavillion at Mexico, then on to Norway. We went through the shops there, Chris and Trev tried on viking hats for a picture. We were going to ride Maelstrom, since there was no wait, but Isaac was asleep in the stroller and we didn't want to wake him up. We went on to China, walked through the shops, then to Germany, Italy and the USA. It was in Italy that it occured to stop at the kidcot stop, and start a mask; that was the only country we stopped, but Trev liked it. We were going to see the American Adventure, but we were 20 minutes early and we were all hot, tired, and hungry, so we decided to go back for lunch. We stopped at the fountain near the entrance to World Showcase and the boys played for a long time, then we went back to ASMo. At lunch in the food court and went back for a nap.

We didn't get up until 4, and our PS for Garden Grill was at 5, can we make it? Maybe! We left the room at 4:20, but our previous 2 experiences with busses to Epcot from Movies was in the back of my mine. We had to wait 15 minutes for a bus, got through the turnstiles at 4:55, and I went ahead of Chris and the boys to check in so we weren't late. We were seated in about 5 minutes, right after they got there. Sean was our server, we liked him pretty well. He explained how the food was served, and got our drinks. While we were eating our salad, Chip came by, then Mickey, Dale, and Pluto. We saw all the characters twice, interaction was great! We loved the food, but there was just too much of it. We hated to see it go to waste, but there was no way we could eat it all. When we were back outside was when I remembered I had wanted to do the Rehitching Ceremony, and I had completely forgotten about it. The PS was made right before we left home early due to the hurricane, and I had forgotten about it then too. Oh well, maybe next time!

We went back over to the World Showcase to see the rest. Walked through Canada and didn't even stop to look, then on to the UK, where we found Pooh and Rabbit in the back of one of the shops. Walked through France, which DH said didn't look like any part of France he's ever seen (he goes there for business a couple times a year), then on to Morocco, where we found Aladdin by accident. Got a pic with him and wen through Japan. Since we had seen all the countries then, we decided to look for a spot for Illuminations. We got what turned out to be an awesome spot on the bridge between UK and France at the International Gateway. We had to wait over an hour, but it was well worth it. We had a perfect view, the ball was right in front of me when they brought it out to the middle! We took our time leaving and got back to our room about 10:15. DH went down again and got us drinks and snacks, and we sat outside after the boys went to bed.

Tomorrow: MGM, Mini-golf, and DTD
