Reading the posts and reviews of the Chicagoland meet I am jealous... I want to meet my disboard friends!! Anyone up for a Boston Meet? I am willing to help pull it together if there is enough interest.. So what do you say New Englanders.. are you up for a meet?

Once again, New England overlooks Indy... vewwwy dangewous.... ;)

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'm in if I am around at the time (meaning not at WDW).

Ok.. so we need the who, what, where and when

Who: my online DIS Friends
What: a meet that will show up Indy's
When: I am thining maybe early October... the 4th or the 11th
Where: any ideas?

We could go apple picking, to a pumpkin patch, the topsfields fair is around as is King Richards fair, the 11th is the cranberry festive in Carver or we can always do lunch at the rainforest cafe... any other ideas

I like the Topsfield Fair and the King Richard's Faire idea.

Some ideas...if we want to make it in Boston proper

- Duck Boats, Trolley Tour, or Harbor Tour
- There's a new Melting Pot opening up in Park Square...a fondue party might be fun

October works for me. I have a pretty full calendar in September.

I'll be at WDW 10/01-10/07.

Don't schedule around me though........

I'm in. Although it's very tough to drive over that bridge! :rotfl: I can make an exception for once. I like the King Richards Fare idea too. We've never been. (Is this with or without kids?)

I would say bring the kids... the more the merrier.

I guess what we need to figure out also is what people are willing to pay... boston will be more expensive. I just checked out the duck tours and they have a great package that is a duck tour, 1 1/2 hour bowling at kings and lunch for $50.00 per person but is that to much? King Richards Faire is $25 per person.

What are peoples thoughts about how much they are willing to spend?

I'll be in Massachusettes the weekend of Sept 20. Will be busy the 20th, but 21 ok. For those of you in MA, Bob's memorial service will be 9-20-08 at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield. Not sureof time, yet. Dian-er

Thank you so much for that info Dian-er.. I would love to do something in honor of Bawb... we miss him so much. Please keep us posted

Thanks, Dianer, for the information. Keep us updated...I'll be there if I can.
