Jax airport ??

flying into Jax and just wondering what the airport is like. I checked on the site but thought I would ask someone who is familiar with it. Also, getting the car at Budget @ Jax and thinking instead of taking the shuttle leaving my daughter who is 22 with the boys (who are 10) to get the luggage, getting the car and coming back to get them, what do ya think. We are taking US air.

I have flown into JAX. It was a nice airport and when I went not very crowded. I rented from Hertz and just went to the parking garage to pick up my car. Is Budget offsite?

no but you have to take a shuttle to get there and since I thought that instead of dragging everyone with me, I could go get the SUV while they were getting the luggage off the rack. You know, why take all the luggage with you on the shuttle!!

I will stick with Hertz at JAX since I can walk to my car.
