Jason's MAW trip

we did not tell the kids where we were going today
after another wonderful breakfast we loaded up the troops we were off to

SEA WORLD

I think the kids were a little disappointed when we pulled in :lmao:

First off we went to the dolphin show the kids loved it
Then we went to play with the stingrays the kids could have stayed there all day the only thing that got them to leave the tanks was lunch :rolleyes1
then we went to see the

after we feed the dolphins we went to the one place Jason wanted to go
when we got there Jason read the map and all he wanted to do was go to the pearl dive
he was really crabby all day till we finally made our way over there
He was a little disappointed when he found out he couldn't dive in the water to get the clam so he didn't know if he wanted to do it after all
we meet a supervisor outside the dive and she talked him into doing it
I will let the pictures tell you what happen
WARNING CLAM ABUSE HERE SKIP PICTURES IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT
Here the divers are swimming in the tanks
they were so much fun to watch
IMG_4617.jpg

IMG_4618.jpg

here is Jason picking out his clam
IMG_4620.jpg

we were told you need to pick the ugliest one :confused3
IMG_4622.jpg

TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!
IMG_4628.jpg

he got twin blue 6mm (both the same size and the second rarest color) they said they only get twins 1 time a yr and they are never the same size
IMG_4631.jpg

He was so excited he gave the supervisor a huge hug and started to cry so did she
she then gave me a huge hug and thanked me for letting her be a part of his wish **wiping tears here**
We now have the pearls in our safe and told him he can have earnings made for his wife on his wedding day *praying that happens for him*
ohh they did have to ride Alantis
K0700-1.jpg

We hit the Shamu show and the kids got to sit in the wet zone
I would love to go back one day with no strollers and wheelchairs to worry about it was so much fun :lovestruc

First...really excited to see the kids having such a great time and all the wonderful pictures.

Second...I am crying my eyes out now over the pearls and what a wonderful thought that someday that will be earings for a future wife...:goodvibes

What an awesome day!!

You took some great pictures! :)

The dolphin experience is our favorite, too.

I didn't even know the pearl dive existed! Did they let him pick for free? Does it usually cost something? I definitely want to get the word out to other Wish Families...if it is a normal thing a Wish Child can do. :thumbsup2

Aww....

TWIN pearls. How special!!!! What a treat! I know he made that supervisors day!!!

Aw...to give them to his future wife. That is the most precious thing!!

I appreciate you sharing your trip with us SOOOO much! I know you are SO busy with 5 kids to take care of...sharing this with us means so much to me (and I am sure all of us reading!)

Thank you! You made my day!

Thank you! You made my day!

the "clam" cost us $14.95
it was so special for all of us
we all got chocked up a little
the other kids didn't say a word that they didn't get a clam too
Sea World was so much fun I wish we could have gone for 2 days to see it all

wish I had more time over here but life is so busy all of a sudden

I have to share a picture I downloaded today
we are getting ready for our March of Dimes walk and I pulled out some shots of Avy
I don't know how old she is in this shot but she is being held by her bio-mom
P1000529.jpg

here is the link to our walk, where you will find a picture of her at 1 day old
hope it is OK to post the link if not I will take it down

wow! She is SOOOO tiny! And so sweet that she is being held by her bio Mom! That is something I hope she treasures in years to come.

(and your link is not working...it says session timeout...)

I hope they let it stay. :goodvibes

changed the link hope it works now

the scary thing is
my best guess is that she is a few months old in this picture
they normally don't let you hold them till they are more stable

I hope you guys are doing well! I just wanted you to know we miss u on the boards! :)

Somehow I missed coming over to the TR! I am so glad that I saw it today (when you posted your wonderful outfit/shirt/sweater - so cute!).

Looks like the kids and all had a really nice first couple of days. I love seeing their smiling faces. Your airport load was HUGE! I don't know how you got it all in that limo!! I can only imagine the driver's face!!!

Can't wait to hear and see more!

Bummer about Expedia. Did they ever end up changing their minds?

This was Jason's DREAM
he couldn't wait to go on star tours :lovestruc
We went right to the ride. Ella and I stayed with the strollers. Everyone else went in and meet the coolest CM, he asked Jason what he wanted to do
Jason said "this is it all I wanted to do I want to ride Star tours and see the Indiana Jones show"
The guy said stay right here and left them for a minute
He came back and said I booked you VIP seats for the 2 pm show just stay in your seat after the show and you will get to meet Indiana :scared1:
Jason was so excited when he got off the ride
We had enough time to do the Jeti show
P1000335.jpg

P1000340.jpg

P1000354.jpg

as you can see my son had the time of his life :lovestruc
Thank goodness I grabbed apples for everyone from breakfast because we had to book it to the Indiana show
we walked in and said our name and wow VIP means VIP we got walked to our seats which was the second row back from the action
we could feel the heat of the show and of course Ella hated it :headache:
she didn't cry this time but she was cling on and wouldn't watch the show
IMG_4839.gif

after the show we went to get something to eat and the kids wanted to go back on star tours and they ran into the wonderful CM again. This time he took them into the control room of the ride  then he brought us over to a spot and said you guys sit right here it is the best place to see the parade
(sorry to the people we sat in front of they got a little crabby-they were just eating not waiting for the parade)
the dancers all came and hung out with us as you can see they were hamming it up with Christian who was sitting in the stroller
Jason took this picture by the way
IMG_4846.jpg

Then we went to see Matter and Lighting (Christian's favorite-- we got great shots but since I can't share his face I won't post sorry)
We walked around a little bit more, then left to go back to magic kingdom to see the fireworks :cheer2:
We decided to go stroller less which worked out fine with Ella sleeping in the Beco carrier
That meant we could ride the monorail so the kids were got all excited
It was so weird we were walking up the ramp and there was one family getting on the lady starts yelling at the driver to go go and it left :confused3
we walk up and she said you guys get to ride in the cockpit the kids were a little confused, but once they found out they were going to "drive" they got excited
It was the only time we were ever separated from the kids, my stomach did the little flip thing but it was fine
IMG_4887.jpg

Ella slept most of the way in the beco
when we got there the kids got
IMG_4889.jpg

Hayden was so proud
IMG_4891.jpg

We knew we wanted to sit up on the balcony of the train station. It was a perfect spot for our family. I took over a corner, Grandma and the kidlets went on the train.
Dh and his dad went to get popcorn it worked out great
the kids loved the fireworks
IMG_4896.gif

after the fireworks were done we thought it would be fine to let the kids run around up there since everyone was making the mad dash out
it was fun for about 10m until we had the great crash and Ella went flying backwards
the whole floor vibrated :sad1:
it was one of those crashes that she couldn't even cry for a little while
she passed the NO BLOOD check and then we just took turns holding her
Poor Avy was so upset she started to cry too so I had to hold her till she calmed down I felt worse for Avy then Ella
Once things settled down and Ella was on the run again (not even a bump) we made our way out to the boat (there was less of a crowd going that way)
We got to see Noah getting on the boat but couldn't get to him
it was a perfect day for all of us :cloud9:

Sounds like Jason's dream was fulfilled. I love that you got some extra special treatment!

Just found your trip report...loving it so far! The pearl story made me cry...future wife...so sweet!
Sounds like you had a nice trip...can't wait to read more!! popcorn::

DHS!

Woo Hoo!!!

Aw man...it looks like a perfect day!

I love the Jedi deal! :) And the VIP seats at Indiana. And riding in the front of the monorail! What a wonderful day! What a wonderful time! :)

Thank you so much for reporting your trip to us! It means so much to watch you guys plan and then to get to live it vicariously is so much fun!! :)

I followed a link Maroo left on another wish tripper's TR and I am so glad I did. I have five children, and now that they are older, travelling is much easier, but I can empathize with having to bring all their worldly possessions with you when ever you travel. My wish child was 13 weeks preterm, so I can also totally relate to the preemie picture. He weighed 3 lbs 2 oz and got down to 2 lbs 8 ozs before he started to gain again. I love the NICU and all they do there to take care of our kids as much as I love GKTW, but I have to say I would much rather be at GKTW. ;)

Looking forward to reading more about your trip.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED Animal Kingdom :lovestruc
the kids loved it to
The kids were in aww when we walked in they couldn't decide which way to go first so we hit the potty's :rotfl:
We knew we wanted to go Africa so we headed that way and look what we ran into
IMG_4988.jpg

Then off to Kilimanjaro the kids loved it so much.
Grandpa stayed back with stroller while I rode then he went back on with everyone while I got to hang out in the stroller parking with wild head hunting birds. I was chilling in the shade sitting in Jason's wheelchair talking to my friend on the phone when this bird about took my head off I screamed and I think I scared her too. :rolleyes1
I did need to find a potty as soon as they got back, that bird scared me
BTW Jason's wheelchair is really comfy ;)
Then we headed to Dinoland my kids could have hung out there all day they loved the Maze and played in there forever with grandma and grandpa while dh and I got to sit back and relax for a little while :thumbsup2
IMG_5067-1.jpg

we eat at Restaurantosaurus and off to Everest
we pit stopped to get our picture taken for our photopass (this was grandma's picture)
I have to say this again I love this stroller
IMG_5072.jpg

Poor Avy cried and cried when she couldn't go on the ride (Eye doctor vetoed any big roller coasters where she may hit her head) so Grandpa and auntie took her, Hayden and Ella back to Dinoland to ride the little rides and play.
Jason and Christian were so excited I was a little nervous as we waited in line for Everest. We got on Jason held my hand to save me. Christian and Dh were behind us Grandma and someone else rode in front of me.
Well the ride takes off and I hear Christian yelling "this is so much fun" Till we went backwards (which by the way we had no idea that would happen) I hear him screaming "I want to get off I want to get off" :rotfl2:
After it was over he was just fine but refused to go back on when Jason wanted to go again
so Christian and I went to find the others. The first thing out of Christian's mouth to Avy's was "you are so lucky you didn't go on that ride it was so scary"
After we all met back up the kids went on the express train ride and then we decided to head out and go shopping at Downtown Disney
I love these pictures
IMG_5087.jpg

IMG_5090.jpg

Hayden had to have this hat and the funny thing is it looks great on him
IMG_5092.jpg

We got all the kids new t-shirts and back to GKTW for Winter wonderland
IMG_5106.jpg

I am not going to post a picture of Santa since Ella totally FREAKED out. It was so bad she bite Loren hard enough to break the skin
IMG_5114.jpg

then back to our room fast for a big surprise that the kids had no idea was coming
IMG_5155.jpg

I left out Christian's meeting with her since I can't share his face anyway but he was a little scared to tell you the truth :thumbsup2
Avy and Hayden knew something was going on but didn't know what
IMG_5172.jpg

Here is Miss Mary trying to be Grumpy it was so funny we were all cracking up
IMG_5177.jpg

this is what I found before Miss Mary got there :rotfl:
P1000415.jpg

it was a wonderful day
now I bet you can't figure out what we did on our last day there ;)

Another Wish Trip update!!!

:woohoo: :yay: :dance3:    :cool1:

I am so excited!

I also love Animal Kingdom. It is actually my favorite park! Your poor kids on Everest! It scared ME too!! And I knew it was going backwards.

And the bird...scared ya, huh! :lmao: Needed the potty. :rotfl: Priceless.

I love the DTD pictures.

Christmas at GKTW...was it just wonderful? Did your kids get to pick out gifts? :)

Miss Merry staying goodnight is so sweet! We totally missed out on that since we didn't get to stay at GKTW. How cool is that for her to tuck you guys in!!! :)
