Jar of Whimsy Swap
Bag Size: Snack Size (smaller than sandwich)
You will make up 5 bags of embellishments for each group you choose. You may include: ribbons, fiber, eyelets, brads, metal things, charms, slide mounts, beads, diecuts, glitter (in something), sequins (in something), flowers, stickers (please only add ones that you would use), paper clips. You may also include handmade items such as paper piecings, journal boxes, and deco squares (please realize that this is not a requirement and just because you make them doesnt mean anyone else in your group will make them). These are not specific to your character but things you could use to scrap a page with them on it.
***Example of bag in post 36 (page 3).
*** While things should be not be used they dont need to be in packaging, you can also cut sticker sheets apart and put in partial sheets.
*** Each bag does not need to be identical but should be equal in value /amount of contents.
*** If you are new to swapping (and want more than 2 groups) or have had trouble getting things to me in the past I ask that you have your things in by January 10 (not just mailed but arrived or mailed with dc). This gives me plenty of time to get an angel if needed.
Labeling and mailing: Please label the outside of each snack bag with your name and group letter. Put all the bags for one group into a gallon bag and label that bag with your name and group. Although these will not fit into envelopes they should not need more than basic postage in a priority box (for one group). When you go to the post office to mail them to me- if they are less than 12 ounces just send the 4.95 (plus 0.65 cents for dc). If they are more than that then plan on sending money for a flat rate box $10.35.
***You may send in 4 bags for your group if you also include a paper with the group number and your name as a placeholder for the group. Example - I send in 4 princesss bags and inside of the large bag they are in I also include a paper that says Group A- Princesses- rlove- placeholder. That will tell me not to send one of your own bags back to you and will make shipping easier - since this could be a bulky but light swap.
Due Date: These are due on January 20th. Please mail them by January 16th.
