At the Japanese table service restaurant, do they fry the rice on the tempanyaki table? My husband and I have eaten at other similar restaurants, and they take the steamed rice and add sauces and the like to it on the tempanyaki grill. It is the best rice in the world. We are eating at the Japan restaurant this September for the first time, and I was just wondering if they prepare their rice that way. It is the meal my hubby is most looking forward to! I would be happy just eating the rice, but the steak and chicken at other Japanese restaurants is so good, I will probably order that at Disney too.

I've never had 'fried rice' there. Most meals include noodles which are prepared on the grill, and are served with steamed rice. ( which is excellent)

I don't know if they offer fried rice.

I thought they did, but we haven't eaten there since 2002. We'll be there again in October for my dh's birthday (his request!). I do like that rice, too! Yummy!!
