My DD is fascinated with Japan and I want to take her to a Japanese restaurant in Epcot-- which is most atmospheric? Teppanyaki? (sp?)
thank you!!

Teppenyaki is really nice! It's a hibachi style place...think Benihana's...so unless you are a party of 8, you will be seated with people you don't know...for us it wasn't a big deal. The food was great! We ate there with the Candlelight Processional package in December and were really pleased, even DS who's 13 and not a fan of most asian dishes...he loved the steak! They do have a decent variety of offerings...I would suggest that you check out the menu at allearsnet.com. Try the edamame...yeah, soybean pods, but quite refreshing...nice and crisp with a hint of salt...I wasn't sure about them, but tried it and loved them.!

As for ambiance...it was very nice...the dining rooms are divided (our smaller room had 4 grills) with Japanese styled screens for walls and the color scheme seemed traditional (based upon the things my dad brought back from Japan.) I'm planning to eat here again in July with Dsis and Dniece who've never been before.

Hope this helps!

It is my DD11's favorite restaurant. She loves watching the chef. We have had to sit with other parties both times we have gone, and it has not been a problem at all. Even my two younger pickier eathers did not balk at this one. And the lovely CMs in the waiting area made adorable orgami frogs and fish for my younger two, as well. :goodvibes

Our 9 yr old daughter loved it! She ate there with her aunt last September and we've already made reservations for this September at her request. :yay:
