Japanese restaurant outside of WDW?

We had heard there is a Japanese place similar to Teppan Edo outside of WDW, you know where they cook your food in front of you...

Anyone know the name/location?

More than one, but the closest I know of is Kobe, a block up from 535 on Palm Parkway (in a shopping center with CiCis Pizza, Hooters, the Crab House...).

Personal choice for the best local restaurant of that style would be Amura, a few more miles up Palm Parkway, then left on Sand Lake Road (behind a Walgreens and Panera Bread Co.).

Amura is good. But to get a better overall experience and equally good food, I would do Kobe on 535. Great steakhouse and we always have a good time when we go. Hope that helps.

We ate at one in the Hilton at DTD called Benni Hannah? I think...Friends of ours raved and wanted to bring us there. We liked it and later found out it's a chain. We are from Canada and had never heard of it.

we ate at Kobe while in orlando last week. it was wonderful. food was great and plentiful, and kids loved it.

I have eaten at the one at the Hilton downtown Disney The sushi was some of the best i have eaten.Hopes this helps!
