We are planning a return trip to WDW Jan 3-10. We plan on doing the parks for 4 days mid-week. On our previous trip in Nov.2001 we had absolutely no waits (post 9/11) and my kids got to ride Buzz 10 x in a row with no wait at all. How will Jan. compare to this. I'm afraid our expectations will be too high based on our first trip. I also note that some of the southern schools (FL and GA) do not go back until Jan. 12. Will this affect attendance. What have your experiences been this time of year.

My husband and I have gone to WDW the last 3 Januarys and are going again this coming January 3-13. We find the crowds to be very manageable. You may not be able to walk on the same ride 10 times in a row, but there will be short waits. We still do take advantage of early entry most days, although it probably isn't necessary. Be sure to pack an assortment of clothes. The last couple of times it has been very chilly. We live in Alaska and I still wore a polar fleece jacket and thin gloves at night. It was in the high 30's most early mornings of our trip and would warm up during the day. You will have a great time. Dawn
