January to May free dining possibilty?

I already looked at the history of deals on mousesavers, and saw some packages but not free dining...

is there or has there ever been free dining during the 1st 5months of the year?

The last 2 years there's been no free dining in January - May(?), just the 4-3 deals. Personally I'm hoping they do as well. It is a possiblilty we might get it as I don't remember free dining extended and running into late December. It's possible they might extend it again rather than do the 4-3 deal but I wouldn't be shocked if they did the 4-3 deal. UK guests are being offered free dining in January so who knows. Lets keep our fingers crossed

I don't think the free dining has ever been offered during any time other than mid to late Aug through a few days before Christmas (which has been able to continue through Dec 31 as long as at least the first day of stay was on or prior to the 'through to date")

There have been PINs at times for other times of the year. Other offers have been offered in the beginning of the year like the free gift cards and buy 4 get 7 with room and ticket costs (5/7 for values this year)

that's what it looks like to me too,
we would be bringing my daughter and her friend, and we like to stay at Pop. so the free dining would be a bigger savings to us..
decisions decisions.

Subbing, my sis and I and families are going in January. I can't wait to see what they will offer. She's hoping for free dining but I told her not to hold her breath. I'm sure there will be some kind of discount. I am hoping for the 7 for 4. does anyone know if you can book two 7 for 4's back to back??

In the past you've been able to book 2 back to back. The only downside is that you have to fulfill the ticket purchase requirement on both reservations which takes away some of the savings though you do have that second set of tickets for future use.

There has never been a free dining discount in January or February. There has never been a general public FD code during that time frame, but some random email pin codes for free dining in March, April and May. Those were name-sensative, non-transferrable and not for the general public.

We went using a free dining PIN this past May. This is only a guess, but I would not be surprised to see FD offered to the general public this winter and spring, maybe even along with the 4/3 deal. The economic recovery is sputtering -at best. Even wealthy consumers have tightened their belts and are not spending money at the same rate they were even six months ago. That is even more so the case with middle class folks. These groups are WDWs bread and butter, so they will have to come up with extended offers in order to get people into the gates.

Disney does not want to do this. Iger was even quoted that the offers would dry up in 2011. But I believe that is wishful thinking on his part.

FD would be a good one, we're going in may, and want to stay at the treehouses with DxDP, so not sure if that would work. I was hoping for a 40% off deal LOL
