January Special

Does anybody know if certain hotels are except from the January special of getting three free nights when you book 4? Do all hotels resorts on Disney apply or it is only certain ones???

im pretty sure its all resorts you can check it on the disney websight.

The reason I ask is that my fiance and I were suppose to be in disney now, but I fell ill. So we changed our reservation to January 17th, during the promotion that is going on, and the price is basically the same. Shouldn't it be less given the promotion? What should I do?? Any suggestions?

When you made your current reservation, did you request the 4/3 promotion rate and availability? Are you willing to change your resort selection if it's available somewhere for your seven nights but not at your resort of choice? Call back and see what's available.

Did you ask for the special or did you just tell them to change the dates?

I think AKV is not available at the special 4/3 rate, but the other resorts I've checked have shown some availability. You do have to specifically request the 4/3 package.

Also, if you're checking the dates on the Disney website, you have to click through the 4/3 links or you'll see rack rates.

AKV is a DVC property. I don't think any DVC properties were included in this deal, but all the WDW "regular" resorts were...however...not everything's available for every date, since some resorts are already booked up.

Nevertheless, keep trying. Things will start opening up as the 45-day cancellation window for your dates gets closer.

Keep in mind that is MLK weekend and there were some AP blackouts. I managed a discount at a moderate, but there were none at the values. There is probably not much availability for that weekend now, but it never hurts to try. Keep in mind that in order to get the promotion, you may have to move to another resort that is available.
